Logan Thunder made it two more NBL1 North wins and Cairns Dolphins improved to 7-0 with another standout all-round performance.

Courtney Woods, River Baldwin, Alyssa Brown, Nes'eya Parker-Williams and Erin Bollmann were among the NBL1 North stars in wins for Townsville Flames, Mackay Meteorettes, Brisbane Capitals, Northside Wizards and Sunshine Coast Phoenix.

FRIDAY
Logan Thunder (85) defeated North Gold Coast Seahawks (66)
Logan Thunder started their weekend double in style with the 85-66 win over the North Gold Coast Seahawks to make it three on the trot.
The Thunder were back home at Bendigo Bank Cornubia Park Sports Centre having won their last two after their lone loss of the season ahead of hosting a Seahawks team having won their first two games of 2026.
It was also a return of coach Brayden Heslehurst back to coach on his former home floor now in charge of North Gold Coast, and it was a hot start from his team with an early 10-point lead.
Logan had managed to work on top at 21-19 by quarter-time and then added 24 points to 12 in the second term to go into half-time on top 45-31.
It was then 22 points to 13 in the third frame from with the Thunder's lead growing to 26 points and from there they completed the job on the 19-point win to improve to a 5-1 record with three straight.
Amandine Toi top scored for Logan with 20 points to go with six steals and three blocks while Leah Scott added 15 points, 11 boards, four assists and two steals.
Mikhaela Cann contributed 11 points, six assists and two steals while Mya Moke contributed 10 points on 4/7 shooting, Prasayus Notoa 10 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two blocks, and Maddison Reisinger nine points and three assists.
The Seahawks are now 2-5 with the loss with Jessica Boundy top scoring with 18 points and six rebounds with 4/9 three-point shooting.
Katie Deeble also had 15 points, six rebounds, six assists and three steals, Antoniette Emma-Nnopu 13 points, eight boards, three steals and two assists, and Georgia Woolley eight points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals.
Townsville Flames (76) defeated Gold Coast Rollers (61)
Courtney Woods just missed what would have been another massive triple double but she still led the Townsville Flames to the 76-61 bounce back win over the Gold Coast Rollers.
Townsville were back home at Carmichael Ford Stadium trying to bounce back from a loss to the Mackay Meteorettes with Gold Coast arriving having lost four straight.
The Flames made a good start with an early 10-point lead and still being on top 20-16 by quarter-time before putting up 20 points to 11 in the second frame on the way to the 40-27 half-time edge.
The lead then got out to 20 points in the third quarter for Townsville before both teams only managed to combine for 17 in the last term with the Flames on the way to the 15-point win to improve to a 4-3 record.
Courtney Woods was brilliant once more for the Flames finishing with 24 points, 10 assists, eight rebounds and two steals to have already consolidated herself as MVP favourite once more.
Mia Murray also provided 13 points and five rebounds, Kate Searle 10 points on 4/8 shooting, Chailee Ward eight points, four rebounds and three assists, Ella Tofaeono seven points and three assists, and Bree Stephens six points and seven rebounds.
Gold Coast are now 2-6 with the loss with Ariana Moorer putting up 14 points, five rebounds and three assists with Emma Petrie contributing 11 points and nine boards, Tara Manumaleuga 11 points, four assists and three boards, and Juna Umezawa nine points, nine rebounds and five assists.
Mackay Meteorettes (95) defeated Northside Wizards (85)
The Mackay Meteorettes overcame a 14-point second quarter deficit to dominate the second half with 59 points to 37 to score the 95-85 home win against the Northside Wizards to improve to 7-2.
The Meteorettes were back home at Mackay Basketball Stadium having split their road double last weekend with a win against the Townsville Flames but loss to the Cairns Dolphins.
The Wizards arrived on Friday night to start their road double also after a loss to the Southern Districts Spartans with the visitors managing to go on an 11-0 run to open up a 14-point advantage in the second quarter.
Northside were still leading by 12 at half-time but then Mackay ended up taking over with a dominant second half on the way to scoring the 10-point win to improve to a 7-2 record with the Wizards now 3-4 to start their road double in the Tropical Far North.
Mackay had to come from behind before securing the eventual 10-point victory with River Baldwin producing 23 points, 10 rebounds, four blocks and three assists at an efficient 10/16 shooting while being +23 in her 31 minutes.
Cheyenne Bobongie delivered another 21 points, seven rebounds, six assists and two blocks with 3/4 shooting from downtown while Nikita Muscat contributed 19 points, five boards, three assists and three steals.
Monique Bobongie added 14 points, 10 rebounds and three assists, and Sammie Puisis 14 points, five boards and two steals.
Grace Ellis finished with 25 points, nine rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks for Northside with Nes'eya Parker-Williams providing another 20 points, six boards and two assists.
Kahlaijah Dean added 14 points, six assists and five rebounds, Kelsey Ransom 14 points and five boards, and Courtney Virgo six points, five rebounds and four assists.

SATURDAY
Brisbane Capitals (82) defeated South West Metro Pirates (63)
The Brisbane Capitals got back to winning at home on Saturday night with Alyssa Brown showing the way in the 82-63 win against the South West Metro Pirates.
The Capitals were back home at Auchenflower Stadium having lost their past two games ahead of hosting a Pirates team with just one win so far in 2026.
The Caps started on fire with 28 points to 18 in the opening quarter and then put up another 20 to 13 in the second frame on the way to the 48-31 from half-time.
South West Metro did put themselves back into the contest with 19 points to 11 in the third quarter, but Brisbane responded once more with 23 to 13 in the third term on the way to the 19-point home win.
That improves the Capitals to a 3-6 record with Alyssa Brown starring with 22 points, nine rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocked shots.
Ashley Harris also had 18 points, nine boards and four assists, Emilee Tahata 13 points and six rebounds, and Jessia Reif 10 points, six boards and six assists.
The Pirates are now 1-6 with the loss with Hannah Simental finishing with 15 points, four rebounds and three assists.
Charlotte Whittaker also had 12 points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals, and Steph Bairstow 10 points and seven boards.
Cairns Dolphins (87) defeated Gold Coast Rollers (78)
The Cairns Dolphins continued their undefeated start to the season with Summah Evans, Mia Loyd and Taryn Bond combining for 67 points in the 87-78 win over a competitive Gold Coast Rollers.
The Rollers arrived at Trinity Ford Stadium having lost to Townsville the night before but came out ready to fight against the undefeated Dolphins who were fresh and waiting.
Gold Coast did have the better of the start to be leading 21-18 by quarter-time and then had an even better second frame with 23 points to 14 to head into the half-time break leading 44-32.
Cairns responded coming out of half-time with a 12-0 run and put up 32 points to 17 in the third quarter, and then 23 to 17 in the fourth to come from 13 points down to secure the nine-point home win.
The victory improves the Dolphins to a perfect 7-0 record with Summah Evans delivering another 24 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and two steals on 4/9 three-point shooting.
Mia Loyd provided 23 points, nine assists and seven rebounds, Taryn Bond 20 points and three assists, Leichan Williams 11 points and five rebounds, and Alessandra Burke six points, two boards and two assists.
Gold Coast did lose twice on their road double but fought valiantly to now be 2-7 with Juna Umezawa finishing with 18 points and 10 rebounds with Ariana Moorer contributing 17 points, seven assists, six boards and three steals.
Nyah Morris added 17 points, two rebounds and two assists with 5/13 three-point shooting with Emma Petrie also having 12 points, nine boards and four assists, and Tara Manumaleuga four points, 10 rebounds and six assists.
Sunshine Coast Phoenix (81) lost to Logan Thunder (92)
Logan Thunder made it a double win weekend to make it four in-a-row with the 92-81 road victory over the Sunshine Coast Phoenix.
The Phoenix were back home at Maroochydore Stadium trying to keep their winning form going against a Logan team fresh off beating the North Gold Coast Seahawks at home on Friday night.
It was a good start from the home team as well with an early eight-point advantage before by quarter-time it was Logan on top 21-20.
The Thunder then had another 27 points to 21 in the second term to head into half-time leading 48-41 before pushing out further in the third term with another 28 points to 15.
That saw the Logan lead get out to as much as 26 points on the way to the 11-point win after a strong finish from Sunshine Coast.
Logan improves to 6-1 after the double win weekend with Amandine Toi delivering 20 points with four rebounds and 4/10 three-point shooting.
Leah Scott contributed 18 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals, Prasayus Notoa 16 points, nine boards and three assists, Maddy Allen 12 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals, and Mikhaela Cann eight points and eight assists.
Sunshine Coast are now 3-4 following the defeat with Maya Price finishing with 25 points and six rebounds with 11/16 shooting from the field.
Erin Bollmann provided 16 points, seven rebounds, five steals, three assists and two blocks, Isabel Palmer 15 points and four assists, and Amy Browne 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Rockhampton Cyclones (66) lost to Northside Wizards (74)
Nes'eya Parker-Williams continued to shine in her first North season leading the Northside Wizards to the 74-66 win over the Rockhampton Cyclones as they wrapped up their road trip in winning fashion.
The Wizards were playing their second game in 24 hours arriving at Bravus Arena coming off a 10-point loss to the Mackay Meteorettes while the Cyclones were hunting a second win so far of 2026.
Northside took over the contest in the second quarter to leading 43-26 by half-time with Parker-Williams already having 13 points and 11 rebounds.
The Wizards would end up leading by as much as 19 points and then survived 23 points in the last quarter from the Cyclones for the eight-point win to improve to a 4-4 record.
Nes'eya Parker-Williams last played in the NBL1 when she won a West championship with the Rockingham Flames back in 2024 but she is enjoying life in the North for the first time now having joined the Wizards in 2026.
She already had a double double to half-time and finished the game with 24 points, 16 rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks with 4/9 three-point shooting.
Kelsey Ransom added 15 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals for the Wizards, Grace Ellis 13 points and 11 boards, Courtney Virgo nine points and three assists, and Kahlaijah Dean six points and six assists.
It was a tough night for most of the game for Rockhampton with Emily Kiser finishing with 19 points, 16 rebounds, seven assists, four steals and three blocked shots with 6/24 shooting from the field but making 4/6 from beyond the arc.
Shanique Lucas added 13 points, eight rebounds, four assists and two steals, Tai Wakelin-Gray 11 points, seven boards and four steals, and Akaysha Muggeridge nine points and two rebounds.

SUNDAY
South West Metro Pirates (74) defeated Ipswich Force (61)
The South West Metro Pirates turned a one-point half-time lead into the 74-61 home victory over the Ipswich Force as they recorded a second win of 2026.
The Pirates were back home at Hibiscus Sports Stadium trying to bounce back from the previous night's loss to the Brisbane Capitals while the Force were also looking to bounce back from a loss last week to the Sunshine Coast Phoenix.
It was then a tight and low scoring battle in the first half with South West Metro just leading 34-33 by half-time before the Pirates took charge in the second half with 40 points to 28 on the way to the 13-point victory.
The win improves the Pirates to a 2-6 record on the season on the back of going 13/25 from three-point territory to the 2/13 from the Force who now slip to 2-5 as a result of the defeat.
There was a lot to like especially after half-time for South West Metro with Steph Bairstow showing the way with 10 points, 14 rebounds and four assists with her team +17 in her 33 minutes.
Hannah Simental top scored with 20 points, six rebounds and six assists with Charlotte Whittaker contributing 18 points, six boards and three assists, Jenna Kilty 13 points, four rebounds and three assists, and Kate Head nine points, four boards, two assists and two steals.
Captain Tessa Morrison also had a significant impact in the win for the Pirates even without scoring showing the leadership that had her captain also in the NBL1 West at the East Perth Eagles. She had seven rebounds and a block in her 18 minutes.
Valerie Huerta top scored in the loss for Ipswich with 20 points, five rebounds, five assists, four assists and two steals with Hannah Young adding 13 points and six boards.
Natasha Elliott added 10 points and four rebounds with Olivia West contributing nine points and five boards.
Southern Districts Spartans (65) lost to Sunshine Coast Phoenix (85)
The Sunshine Coast Phoenix bounce back from tehri home loss on Saturday night to beat the Southern Districts Spartans 85-65 on the road on Sunday.
The Phoenix started their weekend double going down to the Logan Thunder on Saturday while the Spartans were back home at Rowland Cowan Stadium and making their only appearance of the round.
It was a flying start from Sunshine Coast with a stunning 19-0 run on the way to a 33-11 lead by quarter-time.
It was another 25 points to 19 in the second period for them to then head into the half-time break leading 58-30.
That lead for the Phoenix got out to as much as 36 points in the second half too before the Spartans did finish well with 23 points in the last quarter to cut the final margin back to 20.
The win improves Sunshine Coast to a 4-4 record having split their weekend with Erin Bollmann starring with 28 points, 10 rebounds and five assists on 12/22 shooting.
Isabel Palmer added 21 points and nine rebounds, Maya Price 17 points and nine boards, and Emam Povh 16 points and two assists.
The Spartans are now 7-2 on the back of playing in last year's Grand Final with Hayley McDowell-White finishing with 15 points, five rebounds, four steals and three assists on 5/15 three-point shooting.
Odette Isaac also had 14 points with 5/9 shooting while Abby Solway contributing 10 points, Violet Johnson eight points and three rebounds, and Jess McDowell-White six points, seven assists and four boards on 2/14 shooting.
