There were NBL1 North wins for the Gold Coast Rollers (two), Logan Thunder, Rockhampton Cyclones, Townsville Flames, Mackay Meteorettes, Northside Wizards and North Gold Coast Seahawks.

There were monster NBL1 North performances including Juna Umezawa having 48 points and 15 rebounds over two games for Gold Coast Rollers, Erin Bollmann 55, 29 and 14 asissts in two for Sunshine Coast Phoenix, and Shanique Lucas and Georgia Woolley both scoring 42 each for Rockhampton Cyclones and North Gold Coast Seahawks.

FRIDAY
Cairns Dolphins (83) lost to Logan Thunder (91)
It was the battle of the top two teams but Logan Thunder proved too strong with Leah Scott showing the way as they beat the Cairns Dolphins 91-83 despite the home team getting 30 points from the returning Brooke Basham.
Top spot in the NBL1 North went on the line at Trinity Ford Stadium with Logan arriving for their Far North Queensland double on a 10-game winning streak with Cairns having lost two of the last five after starting 2026 winning nine straight.
Logan were able to lead most of the way and then opened up a 16-point advantage in the fourth quarter before securing the eight-point victory on the road to make it 11 on the trot.
The result improves the Thunder to a 13-1 record to be clear in top spot now ahead of the Dolphins who are 12-3.
Leah Scott continued her standout season with Logan by delivering another 28 points, 12 rebounds and two assists with 13/15 free-throw shooting.
Prasayus Notoa also ended up with 21 points, 18 rebounds and two assists, Maddy Allen 14 points, six assists and four steals on 4/12 three-point shooting, Maddy Reisinger 10 points and three rebounds, and Mikhaela Cann nine points, seven assists and five boards.
It's three losses in the last six games now for Cairns despite Brooke Basham returning and producing 30 points, six assists, four rebounds and two steals.
Summah Evans also had 19 points, nine rebounds, four steals and two assists, Mia Loyd 16 points, eight boards, seven assists and two steals, and Leichan Williams 16 points and 12 rebounds.
South West Metro Pirates (62) lost to Gold Coast Rollers (73)
Juna Umezawa delivered 26 points to lead the Gold Coast Rollers to a fourth win of the season beating the South West Metro Pirates 73-62.
The Pirates were back home at Hibiscus Sports Stadium having lost their past five matches with Gold Coast beginning their double this weekend on the road and looking to end the season on a high note.
Gold Coast started the better with 23 points to 12 in the opening quarter before another 20 to 15 in the second to go into the half-time break leading 43-27.
That lead then got out to as much 27 points in the second half for the Rollers before they held on for the 11-point win to improve to a 4-10 record.
Juna Umezawa starred in the win for Gold Coast with 26 points and six rebounds with 4/7 three-point shooting while Ariana Moorer contributed 17 points, four boards and four assists, Jayla Cassidy 11 points, three rebounds and three assists, and Tara Manumaleuga seven points, eight assists, five boards and two steals.
South West Metro have now lost six in-a-row to be 3-12 with Hannah Simental finishing with 24 points, six rebound and six assists with 5/8 shooting from the outside.
Charlotte Whittaker added 18 points, 12 rebounds and three assists, Steph Bairstow six points and four boards, and Tessa Morrison six points, three rebounds and two assists.

SATURDAY
Gold Coast Rollers (81) defeated North Gold Coast Seahawks (68)
The Gold Coast Rollers made it consecutive wins this weekend with the 81-68 home win over the North Gold Coast Seahawks with Ariana Moorer and Juna Umezawa combining for 45 points and 34 rebounds.
Gold Coast were fresh off beating the South West Metro Pirates on Friday night and backed up at home at Carrara Indoor Sports Stadium against a Seahawks team still an outside shot of playing finals if they can keep winning.
It proved to be a tight contest through the first three quarters with no more than seven points separating the teams with Gold Coast clinging to the 53-51 advantage by three quarter-time.
But it was then all the Rollers in the fourth quarter with 28 points to 17 to secure the 13-point victory to make it a double win weekend and improve to 5-10.
Ariana Moorer finished with 23 points, 15 rebounds, nine assists and five steals for Gold Coast with Juna Umezawa producing another 22 points and 19 boards.
Tara Manumaleuga also had 20 points, seven rebounds and two steals, and Jayla Cassidy six points, three rebounds and two assists.
North Gold Coast saw their playoff hopes dashed with the loss to slip to 6-8 with just two games to go with Georgia Woolley producing 19 points, 10 rebounds, three steals and two assists.
Katie Deeble also had 19 points, three assists and two rebounds, Antoniette Emma-Nnopu nine points, six boards and five steals, Jess Boundy eight points, five rebounds and two blocks, and 16-year-old Charlize Brown six points and six rebounds.
Rockhampton Cyclones (109) defeated Sunshine Coast Phoenix (99)
The Rockhampton Cyclones finished their home season with a remarkable 109-99 double overtime win against the Sunshine Coast Phoenix despite Maya Price and Emily Kiser scoring just before the buzzer to twice send the game into another five minutes.
Rockhampton might have been out of the finals mix but had won their past two games ahead of their last home appearance at Bravus Arena for 2026 up against a Sunshine Coast team needing a win to stay alive.
The Cyclones did open up a 10-point lead in the first quarter but that was back to just three by quarter-time and one at half-time.
It was the Phoenix then leading by five at three quarter-time but with 0.9 seconds on the clock and Shanique Lucas stepped up to hit two free throws for Rockhampton to put the home team up by two.
Then out of a timeout, the Phoenix had one last chance and the pass went inside to Maya Price who quickly got the one-handed hook shot off to get the game to overtime.
Then at the end of the second overtime with Sunshine Coast up by two, Rockhampton had one last chance and it was Emily Kiser scoring off an offensive rebound to level scores once more and force a second overtime.
Then finally it was in the second extra period that's when the Cyclones were able to pull away with 20 points to 10 to end their season at home with the most remarkable double overtime contest.
Rockhampton are now 5-9 with three straight wins with Shanique Lucas scoring 42 points, seven rebounds and three assists with 7/11 three-point shooting.
Emily Kiser also had 25 points, 17 rebounds and three assists, Gracie Stugart 11 points, 14 assists, nine boards and six steals, Akaysha Muggeridge 11 points, two rebounds and two assists, and Tai Wakelin-Gray nine points, nine boards and three steals.
The loss could be a dagger blow to the finals prospects of Sunshine Coast who are now 7-7 with Erin Bollmann delivering 31 points, 16 rebounds and 11 assists with a monster triple double.
Isabel Palmer also had 28 points, seven rebounds and four assists with 6/8 shooting from the outside, Maya Price 16 points and eight boards, Kayla Mathews eight points, seven assists and four rebounds, and Amy Browne eight points, 11 boards and three assists.
Townsville Flames (91) defeated Logan Thunder (84)
Courtney Woods was back for the Townsville Flames, she had another big double double and led her team to snap the winning run of the NBL1 North leading Logan Thunder with the 91-84 victory.
Logan started their double header weekend in Far North Queensland beating the Cairns Dolphins on Friday to move clear further in top spot ahead of taking on the Flames on Saturday at Carmichael Ford Stadium.
The Flames were on top most of the evening but never was there more than seven points separating the two teams and heading into the final quarter it was just a one-point ball game.
Townsville did end up answering every challenge, though, and went on to secure the seven-point victory to improve to a 10-5 record to stay in the top four with Logan still first at 13-2 having split their double up north over the space of 24 hours.
It was strong showing from Townsville that will go a long way to securing them a top four finish with Chailee Ward delivering 22 points, three rebounds and three assists with 5/10 three-point shooting.
Ella Tofaeono also had 20 points and 10 rebounds on 9/13 shooting, Courtney Woods 19 points and 12 assists, and Kate Searle nine points, two rebounds and two assists.
Logan remain in top spot at 13-2 despite the loss with Leah Scott producing another 25 points, six rebounds and three assists with 11/19 field goal shooting.
Mikhaela Cann also had 11 points, three rebounds and two assists, Prasayus Notoa 11 points, five boards and four assists, Kendell Heremaia 10 points and four rebounds, Amandine Toi nine points and six assists, and Maddy Allen nine points and two assists.

SUNDAY
Mackay Meteorettes (88) defeated Sunshine Coast Phoenix (59)
The Mackay Meteorettes confirmed their playoff spot and remain a chance to still jump a couple of spots in the last round after 88-59 win over the Sunshine Coast Phoenix on seven first-half three balls from Sammie Puisis.
It always shaped as a potentially season-defining game for both teams on Sunday at Mackay Basketball Stadium with the Meteorettes playing their lone game of the round and Sunshine Coast having lost to the Rockhampton Cyclones the previous night in double overtime.
That left Mackay 8-5 and the Phoenix 7-7 coming into the game so it was a must-win affair for the Sunshine Coast but the Meteorettes got on top early and never looked back.
Mackay were leading by 20 at half-time with 23 points and seven threes already from Puisis before then going on with it with 24 points to nine in the fourth quarter to win by 29.
The Meteorettes are now 9-5 with the win to snap a three-game losing run with the Phoenix remaining outside the top six at 7-8 with the pair of road losses this weekend.
Puisis had those 21 points and 7/14 three-point shooting to half-time and 26 on 8/17 by the end of the afternoon.
River Baldwin also had another 22 points, 14 rebounds and three assists, Monique Bobongie 18 points, eight boards, four assists and two steals, Eden Catip eight points and three rebounds, and Cheyenne Bobongie seven points, five assists and four boards.
The loss could well have ended the playoff aspirations of the Phoenix with Erin Bollmann finishing with 24 points, 13 rebounds, four steals and three assists.
Kayla Mathews also had 12 points, six rebounds and three assists, Maya price eight points and five boards.
Northside Wizards (88) defeated Brisbane Capitals (60)
The Northside Wizards just about confirmed their playoff position with the 88-60 home win against the Brisbane Capitals.
The Wizards were back home at Northside Indoor Sports Centre with other results going their way with the teams trying knock them out of the top six losing as they hosted a Caps team on a five-game losing slide.
Brisbane started well away from home with 22 points to 18 in the first quarter before Northside had 20 to 16 in the second and scores were all level by half-time.
The Wizards then pulled away in the third quarter with an 11-0 scoring run and to open up a 17-point lead before going into three quarter-time on top 62-50.
Northside added another 26 points to 10 in the final term to secure the 28-point win and stay solid in sixth position at 9-5 with Kelsey Ransom delivering 23 points, three steals and two assists.
Nes'eya Parker-Williams also had 19 points and 16 rebounds, Nadeen Payne 17 points, four boards and three assists, Grace Ellis 14 points nine rebounds and four assists, and Alice O'Driscoll nine points and four boards.
Brisbane have now lost six in-a-row to be 3-12 with Alyssa Brown finishing with 13 points and five rebounds, Emilee Tahata 12 points and two boards, and Mikaela Ruef 11 points, 10 rebounds and two assists.
Ipswich Force (73) lost to North Gold Coast Seahawks (90)
Not deterred from the disappointment of the previous night the North Gold Coast Seahawks beat the Ipswich Force 90-73 with Georgia Woolley remarkable with 42 points, 11 rebounds and six assists.
North Gold Coast slipped from playoff contention the previous night with the loss to the Gold Coast Rollers as they remained on the road on Sunday against the Force at Ipswich Basketball Stadium.
The Seahawks started well with 26 points to 19 in the first quarter but were only clinging to the 45-40 lead by half-time.
North Gold Coast did then have 28 points to 19 in the third term and 17 to 14 in the fourth to secure the 17-point win but it was the performance of Woolley that was the story of the day.
She finished the afternoon with 42 points, 11 rebounds and six assists with shooting 12/19 from the field, 3/7 from the outside, and 15/18 at the free-throw line.
Katie Deeble also had 19 points, eight rebounds, five assists and two steals, Antoniette Emma-Nnopu 12 points and 13 boards, Jess Boundy seven points, and 16-year-old Charlize Brown six points, five rebound and two assists.
Ipswich are now 3-12 with the loss with Natasha Elliott finishing with 16 points, 11 rebounds and two steals while Georgia Ralph contributed 16 points and four boards, Stacie Jones 14 points and six rebounds, and Hannah Young 11 points and four boards.
