There were NBL1 North wins for the Cairns Dolphins, Gold Coast Rollers, Rockhampton Cyclones, Townsville Flames, Southern Districts Spartans and Logan Thunder.

Emily Kiser had a monster NBL1 North triple double for Rockhampton Cyclones with Jess McDowell-White, Courtney Woods, Leah Scott and Mia Loyd just missing out in match-winning shows while Hayley McDowell-White went for 38 for Southern Districts Spartans.

FRIDAY

Cairns Dolphins (99) defeated Ipswich Force (52)

Mia Loyd had another standout performance to just miss a triple double while Summah Evans hit five three-pointers for 25 points in the Cairns Dolphins thumping 99-52 home win over the Ipswich Force.

Despite last Friday night's loss to Townsville, Cairns remained in top spot ahead of hosting Ipswich on Friday night at Trinity Ford Stadium to open Round 11.

The Dolphins then already had a 16-point lead in the first quarter and were still leading by that margin at the half before having 27 points to 13 in the third frame, and 24 to seven in the fourth.

That saw Cairns go on and win by 47 points to improve to an 11-1 record to stay clear in first place while Ipswich are now 2-10 having lost seven in-a-row.

Loyd had another huge performance for Cairns to only narrowly miss the triple double with 26 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds with 10/17 shooting from the field and 6/7 at the free-throw line.

Summah Evans also had 25 points and nine rebounds with 5/10 three-point shooting with Teyla Evans contributing 13 points, four boards, three assists and two steals, and Leichan Williams 13 points and four rebounds.

Valerie Huerta ended up top scoring for Ipswich with 14 points, three assists and two rebounds with Stacie Jones contributing 10 points and five boards, and Olivia West eight points, three assists and two rebounds.

SATURDAY

Brisbane Capitals (69) lost to Gold Coast Rollers (95)

The Gold Coast Rollers snapped their eight-game losing streak to record a third win of the season with the 95-69 win on the road to the Brisbane Capitals.

Both teams came into the clash at Auchenflower Stadium desperate for a win with Brisbane having lost their past three and Gold Coast the last eight.

It was an impressive start from the Rollers with 29 points to 22 in the first quarter before they were still leading 45-39 by half-time.

Gold Coast were able to build on that advantage the rest of the way with 19 points to 14 in the third frame, and 31 to 16 on the way to the 26-point victory to improve to 3-9 on the season.

Juna Umezawa produced a standout performance for the Rollers with 27 points, nine rebounds and two assists with 10/12 field goal shooting and going 7/7 at the foul line.

Tara Manumaleuga also had 21 points, three assists, two rebounds and two steals with 6/10 three-point shooting, Jayla Cassidy 15 points, seven boards, two assists and two steals, and Nyah Morris 13 points, seven assists, four rebounds and two steals.

The Capitals are now 3-10 having lost their past four matches with Alyssa Brown top scoring once more with 20 points, five rebounds and two blocked shots.

Ashley Harris added 13 points, six rebounds and three assists, Jessica Reif eight points and five boards, and Elise Siganto seven points and five rebounds.

Northside Wizards (83) defeated South West Metro Pirates (67)

Nes'eya Parker-Williams and Grace Ellis combined for 43 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists to consolidate their playoff position even without Nadeen Payne for the 83-67 home win against the South West Metro Pirates.

The Wizards were back home at Northside Indoor Sports Centre needing to keep winning both to stay in touch of the top four teams and to consolidate their top six position.

Northside were up by eight points early and then still on top 23-21 by quarter-time before another 24 points to 19 in the second frame to be up 47-40 by half-time.

The Wizards had another 20 points to 14 in the third quarter and 16 to 13 in the fourth to end up winning by 16 points to improve to an 8-4 record with five consecutive wins.

Nes'eya Parker-Williams top scored again for Northside with 22 points, seven assists, six rebounds and two blocks with 4/9 three-point shooting and going 6/6 at the foul line.

Grace Ellis also had 21 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and two steals, Kelsey Ransom 17 points, seven rebounds, three steals and two blocks, and Alice O'Driscoll seven points, three boards and three assists.

The Pirates have now lost their past four to be 3-10 on the season with Steph Bairstow producing 17 points, eight rebounds and two assists with Charlotte Whittaker contributing 13 points, five boards and two assists, and Hannah Simental 11 points, eight rebounds and eight assists.

Rockhampton Cyclones (82) defeated Mackay Meteorettes (70)

The Rockhampton Cyclones produced a dominant second half to come from behind and get a third win of the season beating the Mackay Meteorettes 82-70.

Both teams arrived at Bravus Arena fresh off last up losses with the Meteorettes still sitting gin third position despite that and the Cyclones with just two wins on the board so far in 2026.

Mackay then started strongly with 21 points to 11 in the first quarter and then despite being outscored 25 to 21 in the second went into half-time leading the home team 42-36.

The Cyclones then took over in the second half with 23 points to 14 in the third term and 23 to 14 in the fourth on the way to the eventual 12-point victory to improve to a 3-9 record.

It was a first home win of the season for Rockhampton with Emily Kiser having a monster triple double made up of 33 points, 15 rebounds and 14 assists with 11/22 from the field along with 10/10 at the foul line.

Shanique Lucas also had 26 points, seven assists, two rebounds and two steals, Halle Shipton six points, and Tai Wakelin-Gray five points, six boards, three assists and two steals.

Mackay are now 8-4 with back-to-back losses with Sammie Puisis finishing with 14 points and three rebounds, River Baldwin 14 points, nine boards and two assists, Monique Bobongie 17 pints, seven rebounds and two assists, and Cheyenne Bobongie 13 points, six boards and three assists.

Townsville Flames (97) defeated Ipswich Force (59)

Courtney Woods delivered another standout all-round performance to lead the Townsville Flames to the 97-59 win at home to the Ipswich Force.

The Flames were back home at Carmichael Ford Stadium needing to keep winning to stay solid in the top six ahead of hosting an Ipswich team on six-match losing slide.

Townsville made a strong start to already be leading 25-15 by quarter-time before another 26 points to 13 in the second term to be leading 51-28 by half-time.

The Flames continued to take further control of the contest with another 27 points to 10 in the third quarter on the way to the eventual 38-point victory to improve to an 8-4 record with back-to-back wins.

Woods delivered another 23 points, eight rebounds, six assists and four steals for Townsville with 10/13 field goal shooting.

Ella Tofaeono added 16 points and five rebounds, Chailee Ward 16 points, four assists, two assists and two steals with 5/7 three-point shooting, Kate Searle nine points and two steals, Mia Murray nine points, four rebounds and three assists, and Jaimee Seebohm eight points, six boards and three assists.

Ipswich are now 2-10 having won seven straight with Georgia Ralph top scoring with 13 points, two assists and two steals with 3/4 three-point shooting.

Valerie Huerta also had 12 points and three assists, Stacie Jones 12 points and four rebounds, Hannah Young six points, nine boards and two assists, and Courtenay Wragg six points, four rebounds and two assists.

Sunshine Coast Phoenix (74) lost to Southern Districts Spartans (96)

Hayley McDowell-White put up 38 points including 25 in the second half while Jess McDowell-White nearly had another triple double in a big 96-74 road win for the Southern Districts Spartans against the Sunshine Coast Phoenix.

Both teams arrived at Maroochydore Stadium in winning form with the Phoenix knocking on the door of the top six having won their past two while the Spartans remained in fourth place after beating the Ipswich Force.

After Sunshine Coast were up three at quarter-time, Southern Districts took control with 29 points to 15 in the second quarter, 25 to 21 in the third and 24 to 17 in the fourth on the way to the eventual 22-point win.

The victory improves Southern Districts to a 10-4 record on the season to remain solid in a top four position while Sunshine Coast remain outside the top six at 6-6.

Hayley McDowell-White already had 13 points with four triples by half-time but then put up another 25 points in the second to end the night with 38 with 7/11 three-point shooting.

Jess McDowell-White also only just missed a triple double ending up with 15 points, 12 assists, nine rebounds and three steals with the 4/9 three-point shooting.

Mikayla Cocking added 20 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists, Emily Preston eight points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals, and Paige Bayliss seven points, five boards and two assists.

Erin Bollmann had another standout performance despite the result for Sunshine Coast with 28 points, eight rebounds and three steals with 10/18 field goal shooting and going 6/8 from the foul line.

Isabel Palmer added 21 points, five rebounds and five assists, Maya Price nine points, seven boards and four assists, and Kayla Mathews eight points.

SUNDAY

North Gold Coast Seahawks (84) lost to Logan Thunder (91)

Logan Thunder had to fight back from being down 12 early in the second half to the North Gold Coast Seahawks to secure the 91-84 win with Leah Scott and Mikhaela Cann combining for 50 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists.

The Seahawks hosted the Thunder at Runaway Bay Indoor Stadium coming off winning their past two games to keep themselves in playoff contention while Logan were on a seven-game winning streak and in second position.

North Gold Coast then started impressively to lead by four points at quarter-time and 10 at half-time before going up 12 early in the third quarter.

Logan then outscored the Seahawks the rest of the way 51 points to 32 on the way to the seven-point win to make it eight on the trot to improve to a 10-1 record with North Gold Coast now slipping to 5-7.

The Thunder scored the win to maintain their hold on second position with Leah Scott continuing to put herself in MVP calculations with 26 points, 10 rebounds and four assists.

Mikhaela Cann also had 24 points, six rebounds, six assists and two steals while Prasayus Notoa contributed 10 points, 15 boards and five assists, Amandine Toi eight points and five assists, Mya Moke six points, and Maddy Allen five points, five rebounds and three assists.

The Seahawks might not have been able to quite complete a third straight win but they still battled hard against one of the championship fancies with Georgia Woolley outstanding once more with 30 points, 11 rebounds and two steals with 12/12 foul shooting.

Katie Deeble added 17 points, seven rebounds and seven assists, Maddison Baxter 12 points, three assists, three steals and two boards, and Antoniette Emma-Nnopu eight points, five assists and three rebounds.
