A host of current and former NBL1 stars who plied their trade in the most recent WNBL season have been offered opportunities to head over to the WNBA ahead of their season start in May.

Anneli Maley headlines an excellent list of names, following an unbelievable weekend for the Perth Redbacks in NBL1 West where she broke the all-time NBL1 single-game scoring record with a whopping 65 points in a single outing.

Maley will join the New York Liberty under a Training Camp Contract, where she will attempt to earn a spot on their roster.

Also heading over on a Training Camp Contract, Ally Wilson will join the Washington Mystics after an excellent season in the WNBL for the Perth Lynx. Wilson averaged 19.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 2.0 steals across three games for the Mandurah Magic in NBL1 last season.

Signing a Rookie Scale Contract with the Toronto Tempo, Maddy Rocci will be aiming to impress after a strong WNBL season and an excellent start to the NBL1 South campaign with the Keilor Thunder.

Averaging 24.3 points, 7.3 assists, and 6.7 rebounds in the first three games of the season, Rocci is at the peak of her powers and will look to thrive in the most competitive environment basketball has to offer.

After a stunning MVP season for the Bendigo Spirit in the WNBL, Isobel Borlase was nothing short of an absolute certainty to be included in this list of names.

Signing a Rookie Scale Contract with the Atlanta Dream, Borlase will thrive playing alongside some of the biggest names in women's basketball, including superstar Angel Reese.

Playing for the Melbourne Tigers in NBL1 South last season, Borlase averaged 20.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.6 steals per game.

Starring in NBL1 North last season for the Brisbane Capitals, before playing an enormous role in the Townsville Fire's WNBL Championship triumph, Miela Sowah has earned a well-deserved Rookie Scale Contract with the Golden State Valkyries.

Sowah averaged a whopping 37.0 points per game across four outings in NBL1 last season, before 17.8 points per game for the Fire in the WNBL.

With plenty of NBL1 pedigree making its way over to the premier women's basketball league in the world, these stars provide a glowing endorsement of the quality of players that exist across our five conferences.
