The Sydney Kings have expanded on their forward depth with a second NBL1 East signing this week.
The team announced on Tuesday that Norths Bears forward Lachlan Bofinger would be signing on a 1-year deal as a Nominated Replacement Player for the Hungry Jack's NBL27 Season, only a day after Bears teammate Bailey Hanson also signed with the franchise.
He was an instrumental part of the Bears' 2026 NBL1 East championship run, as he collected 16.5 points per game on 52% shooting, whilst also averaging 9.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and more than a steal per game.
Bofinger's year was strong, earning him NBL1 East Men's All-Star Five honours alongside now-teammate Tyler Robertson, as well as promising youngster Jai Fa'ale.
The 25-year-old spent five years in the American college system, playing with UTSA and St Mary's University in Texas.
Bofinger will be part of the purple and yellow's preseason preparations in Bendigo as the Kings take part in the CODE Sports NBL Blitz.
This is before Bofinger's Kings take on the Cairns Taipans in their first regular season encounter on Sunday, September 20.
