Exciting Matchups, Special Rounds, and Home Court Battles Await Fans
Mount Gambier Pioneers Basketball is gearing up for an action-packed 2025 NBL1 South season, with a full schedule of thrilling matchups now officially released. Fans can look forward to high-intensity games, crucial home-court clashes, and special themed rounds throughout the season.
Key highlights of the season include the ANZAC Round on April 25, where the Pioneers will honor the occasion with a home game against Waverley Falcons. The First Nations Round in July will see the team travel to Tasmania for consecutive games against the Hobart Chargers and Launceston/NWT. Meanwhile, the Mental Health Round on July 18 will mark an important awareness initiative as the Pioneers host the Frankston Blues.
Fans can expect a thrilling stretch of home games in June, including matchups against Melbourne Tigers (June 20) and Diamond Valley Eagles (June 27), setting up a crucial period for the team's playoff push.
