Each week the NBL1 will put a spotlight on a women’s and men’s team from each conference for a major performance, a big win or a special occasion for the club.

See the women's Teams of the Week below:

NBL1 North: Southern District Spartans

In a three-point win over the Sunshine Coast, Natalie Taylor delivered a dagger triple to win the game. She finished the game with 11 points and seven assists in the first game-winner of the 2023 NBL1 season!

NBL1 East: Norths Bears

The Norths Bears went down to Canberra and beat the then-undefeated CoE by five points on Saturday.

Carla Pitman and Madeleine O'Hehir both put up 20 points while holding the CoE to only 48.7 percent from inside the arc (CoE shot 60.9 percent from inside the arc in Round 3).

NBL1 South: Knox Raiders

The NBL1 South MVP was back in action on Sunday with a massive 37-point and 14-rebound performance to beat Keilor at home.

If she continues this form, she’ll be the front-runner for MVP once again and a lock for the NBL1 South Finals with the Raiders for 2023.

NBL1 West: Eastern Suns

The Eastern Suns pulled off the impossible, beating the Coles Express NBL1 National Finals Champions by one point in their first game since their historic 2022 season.

Natalie Chou gave the Suns a two-possession difference in the final seconds of the game against the Warick Senators. Chou finished with 17 points, eight rebounds and five assists while teammate Makailah Dyer added 23 points, five rebounds and five assists.

NBL1 Central: Foot Locker Player of the Week!

Woodville Warriors star Nicole Fransson had a massive 30 points and 15 rebounds over the Central District Lions on Saturday.
