The Warwick Senators were able to overcome what looked a serious knee injury early to Jayda Clark to produce a dominant road performance to beat the Joondalup Wolves 78-59 in Friday night NBL1 West.

The Wolfpack were back home at Arena Joondalup on a high having beaten the Cockburn Cougars last Friday night hosting a Senators team who is the only other side to beat the reigning champions so far in 2026.

But it was Warwick in control of the Battle of Joondalup contest right from the outset even with Clark appearing to injure her knee midway through the first quarter and given her history with those type of injuries, it was naturally a shock to her and the team.

But the Senators still managed to remain in control on the way the 19-point victory to improve to a 9-4 record with consecutive wins while the Wolves continue to struggle for consistency to now be 4-9.
