There were double NBL1 South wins for the Northern Force, Keilor Thunder and Knox Raiders as the season resumed over the weekend.

Trazarien White combined for 49 points to lead Knox Raiders to top of NBL1 South with two Round 10 wins while Tana Kopa had 10 triples over a pair of Keilor Thunder victories and Ole Angerstein lifted Northern Force to a three-game winning run.

FRIDAY
Mount Gambier Pioneers (91) lost to Northern Force (104)
Ole Angerstein produced his most dominant performance of the season and the Northern Force took charge in the last quarter to win consecutive games for the first time beating the Mount Gambier Pioneers 104-91.
The season resumed on Friday night at Wulanda Recreation and Convention Centre with the Pioneers trying to avoid a three-game losing streak and adding Deng Deng and Cameron Brown to their line-up having bid farewell to Collin Moore during the King's Birthday break.
It was then a tight battle with the Force trying to win back-to-back games for the first time with the Force leading by two points at quarter-time before Mount Gambier were up by two at the half, and then the visitors back in front by just one at three quarter-time.
It was then all the Force in the fourth quarter with 32 points to 20 on the way to the eventual 13-point victory to improve to 4-11 with back-to-back wins while the Pioneers are now 5-9 having lost four in-a-row.
Ole Angerstein was at his imposing best in the win for the Force with 24 points, 11 rebounds and two steals with 10/11 shooting from the field.
Aaron Ridley III top scored for the winners with 27 points, five rebounds and three assists with 5/6 three-point shooting while Vincent DeAngelo also had 20 points, nine assists, five rebounds and three steals.
Kye Savage also had 18 points, three assists and two rebounds, and Logan Gibson 15 points and 13 boards.
Deng Deng had 13 points and three rebounds in his first appearance for Mount Gambier while the other new face Cameron Brown had three points and a steal.
Alex Mudronja top scored with another 27 points, five assists and three rebounds with Lucas Gordon adding 18 points, 12 boards, four blocks and three steals, Ngor Manyang 13 points and two rebounds, and Titus Robinson 10 points, five boards and four assists.

SATURDAY
Sandringham Sabres (78) lost to Keilor Thunder (87)
Tana Kopa knocked down five three-pointers for 24 points with Keilor Thunder making it consecutive wins with the 87-78 road win against the Sandringham Sabres.
The Sabres were back home at Southern Basketball Stadium and still trying to build momentum into their championship defence while the Thunder were just above them in the standings and coming off a win against Ballarat Miners.
Sandringham were leading by just the point at quarter-time and then still by that same margin at the half before Keilor had 26 points to 21 in the third period, and 25 to 20 in the fourth to secure the nine-point road victory.
The win improves the Thunder to a 9-6 record with Kopa going 5/10 from behind the arc for 24 points with four rebounds.
Landon Seaman also had 19 points and five rebounds, Deng Dut 16 points, seven boards, five assists and two steals, and Daniel Foster 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Sandringham are now 7-7 having lost the past two as reigning champions with Malith Machar finishing with 23 points on 8/16 shooting.
Harry Nelson added 15 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks, Shea Ili 11 points and four assists, Kyle Adnam nine points and two assists, and Kyle Bowen eight points, 14 rebounds and two assists.
Casey Cavaliers (117) defeated Ballarat Miners (106)
Tanner Krebs knocked down seven three-pointers for 27 points in the 117-106 home victory for the Casey Cavaliers against the Ballarat Miners.
The Cavs were back home at Casey Stadium having won four straight ahead of hosting a Miners team trying to get out of bottom spot.
Scores were all square at 25-25 by the end of the first quarter before Casey fired up with 32 points to 22 in the second stanza on the way to leading 57-47 by the half.
The Cavaliers had another 34 points to 25 in the third term on the way to leading by as much as 22 and then winning by 11 even with a 34-point last quarter from Ballarat.
The win improves Casey to a 9-5 record on the season with Krebs finishing with 27 points, seven assists, three steals and two rebounds with 7/11 three-point shooting.
Ibrahima Diallo also had 23 points, eight rebounds and two assists on 10/15 shooting, Joel Robinson 15 points, four boards and two assists, Pat Ryan 15 points and five rebounds on 3/4 shooting from deep, and Jesse Ghee 12 points and 10 assists.
Ballarat are now 2-14 with three straight defeats with Lachlan Dent finishing with 24 points and seven assists with 4/7 shooting from beyond the three-point line.
Jaden Campbell added 24 points and five rebounds, Will Hynes 16 points, five boards, five assists, two steals and two blocks, Yak Nyuon 10 points, six rebounds and three blocks, and Riley Dilges 11 points.
Dandenong Rangers (88) lost to Diamond Valley Eagles (100)
Six Diamond Valley Eagles players scored at least nine points on their way to the 100-88 road win against the Dandenong Rangers.
The Rangers were back home at Dandenong Basketball Stadium looking to put themselves back in the top four race while the Eagles were just trying to stay in top 10 contention.
Dandenong started well to be leading 29-25 by quarter-time before Diamond Valley delivered a monster second period with 34 points to 18 to go into the half-time break on top 59-47.
That lead for the Eagles grew to as much as 23 points as well in the second half before they went on to win by 12 and make it consecutive wins to improve to a 6-9 record.
Noah Todd finished with 15 points, four rebounds and two assists for Diamond Valley with Ryley Haywood contributing 15 points, six boards and two steals, and Mitch Blackburn 13 points and six rebounds.
Daniel Poelsma also had 13 points on 3/3 three-point shooting, Archie Woodhill 12 points and seven rebounds, and Mirko Djeric seven points and six assists.
Dandenong are now 9-7 following the home defeat with Sam Davidson producing 31 points with 4/6 three-point shooting along with going 9/9 at the free-throw line.
Joe Palmer added 18 points, 10 rebounds and three steals, Harry Froling 18 points, six assists and five boards, and Michael Meadows seven points, five assists, three rebounds and two steals.
Knox Raiders (104) defeated Ringwood Hawks (101)
The Knox Raiders delivered a monster fourth quarter with 35 points to come from behind and knock off the Ringwood Hawks 104-101 with four players all scored 20-plus points.
The Raiders had the chance to end the weekend in top spot if they had a couple of wins and results went their way ahead of hosting the Hawks at the State Basketball Centre with Ringwood on their own two-game winning run.
It was the Hawks leading by five points at quarter-time before that was back to a two-point advantage at half-time and then back out to six by three quarter-time.
That's when Knox took over and delivered 35 points to 26 in the final stanza to come from nine points down to score the three-point victory and make it three straight wins to improve to an 11-4 record.
Brody Nunn top scored for the Raiders with 23 points with six rebounds and two assists on 4/9 three-point shooting while Kobe Williamson, Brandon Slater and Trazarien White all scored 21 points.
White also had five rebounds, Slater seven boards and seven assists, and Williamson 13 rebounds and three assists.
Tad Dufelmeier added 11 points, three rebounds and three assists, and Deng Acouth six points, seven boards and two assists.
Ringwood remain outside the top 10 with the loss to now hold a 6-8 record with Jonathan Lawton ending up with 25 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals on 4/8 shooting from downtown.
Harry Sealey also had 22 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals, Uche Dibiamaka 18 points on 4/7 three-point shooting, and Chris Brandon 16 points and 13 boards.
Frankston Blues (106) defeated Hobart Chargers (102)
The Frankston Blues responded to a couple of huge late triples from Anthony Drmic to outscore the Hobart Chargers eight points to two over the last two minutes for the 106-102 victory.
The Blues played host to the Chargers at Jubilee Park Stadium having won three straight while the Chargers started their road double trying to break back into the top 10.
Hobart started well with 27 points to 23 in the first period before going into the half-time break leading 55-50 but then the Blues fired up in the third term with 34 points to 23.
Eventually when Austin Shelley hit a triple with just over three minutes to go Frankston were leading by four before Drmic responded with two huge threes to give Hobart the two-point lead with two minutes to play.
From there, Dibaji Walker and Daniel Trist hit big shots for Frankston eventually Austin Shelley sealed the four-point win at the foul line to improve them to the 10-5 record with four consecutive wins.
Walker finished with 16 points, five rebounds, three steals and two blocks with Jeremy Combs contributing 15 points, four boards and two assists, and Tom Garrett 17 points and four assists with 5/9 shooting from behind the arc.
Shelley also had 13 points, six assists, five rebounds and two steals, Daniel Trist 14 points and four boards, and Kynan Phillippe 13 points, three assists and two rebounds.
Hobart remain outside the top 10 at 7-8 with the loss with Drmic ending up going 5/8 from downtown for 24 points, nine rebounds, nine assists and three steals.
Luke Rosendale added 22 points, seven rebounds and five assists with 5/12 shooting from deep while Jacob Richards added 17 points, eight boards and three assists, Joe Chilcott 14 points, four assists and three rebounds, Xavier Clarke 10 points, and Nick Paul 10 points and 10 boards.
Eltham Wildcats (63) lost to Melbourne Tigers (77)
Top place went on the line and the Melbourne Tigers took charge in the third quarter and George Blagojevic led the charge as they knocked off the league-leading Eltham Wildcats 77-63.
The top two teams coming out of the King's Birthday long weekend locked horns on Saturday night at Montmorency Secondary College with Eltham having moved into first place with three straight wins while the Tigers had slipped from that position having lost their past couple.
The Tigers were leading by three points at both quarter and half-time before then taking control with 21 points to 10 in the third quarter to set up the eventual 14-point victory that improves them to an 11-4 record to be back into first place.
George Blagojevic finished with 22 points, nine rebounds and 11/17 field goal shooting for Melbourne with Mason Gaze adding 17 points on 4/8 shooting from behind the arc.
Tom Wilson also had 14 points, six assists and four steals, Josh Sykes eight points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals against his former team, and Jack Purchase seven points, seven boards, four assists and two steals.
Eltham are now 10-4 on the season following the defeat at home with Zak Cunningham top scoring with 23 points and 12 rebounds with 9/15 field goal shooting.
Mitch McCarron also had 13 points, five rebounds, three steals and two assists, Sam Whelan seven points and three boards, Leonardo Colimerio seven points, two rebounds and two assists, and Sam Short seven points, six assists and five boards.
Waverley Falcons (73) lost to Nunawading Spectres (88)
The Nunawading Spectres kept themselves right in the fight over top spot with the 88-73 road win over the Waverley Falcons with all five starters delivering impressive performances.
The Falcons were back home at Waverley Basketball Centre trying to stay in top 10 contention while the Spectres were one of four teams on 10 wins coming into the weekend at the top of the NBL1 South table.
Nunawading then opened up a 12-point lead in the first quarter before then having 28 points to nine in the second term on the way to leading 52-29 by half-time.
That lead for the Spectres grew to as much as 24 points in the second half and they went on to score the 15-point win in the finish to improve to an 11-4 record with three wins in-a-row.
Owen Lobsinger top scored with 19 points and 13 rebounds with Chrisitan D'Angelo contributing 18 pints, eight boards, four assists and two steals, Kingsley Box 15 points, six rebounds and three assists, Dylan Penn 13 points, nine assists and seven boards, and Ben Griscti 12 points, eight rebounds, four assists and four blocks.
Waverley have now lost four straight to be 5-9 on the season with Gabe Hadley ending up with 25 points, seven rebounds and two assists with 7/13 three-point shooting.
Mawot Mag added 12 points and five rebounds, Kuany Kuany 10 points, six boards and two assists, and Ryan Tobler six points and three rebounds.

SUNDAY
Ringwood Hawks (97) defeated Hobart Chargers (88)
Uche Dibiamaka and Jonathan Lawton combined for 49 points with the Ringwood Hawks hitting back to beat the Hobart Chargers 97-88.
Both teams suffered Saturday night losses in thrillers with the Hawks going down by three to the Knox Raiders while the Chargers went down to the Frankston Blues by four ahead of their match up at The Rings on Sunday.
It was a flying start from Ringwood with a 12-point lead in the first quarter but Hobart responded with their own 12-0 and by half-time it was just a 46-44 advantage in favour of the Hawks.
It was then in the fourth quarter when Ringwood put the result to bed with 29 points to 20 to end up winning by nine and improving to a 7-8 record as a result to stay in top 10 contention.
Dibiamaka finished with 25 points, five rebounds, three assists and two blocks on the back of 9/15 shooting from the floor and 3/4 from behind the three-point line.
Lawton also had 24 points, nine rebounds, two assists and two steals on 6/11 shooting from deep with Chris Brandon contributing 19 points and 14 rebounds, and Tom Carroll 11 points, nine boards and three assists.
Hobart are now 7-9 with the double loss weekend on the road with Luke Rosendale going 4/10 from three-point range for 27 points, five assists and four rebounds.
Jacob Richards also had 24 points, eight rebounds and seven assists, and Anthony Drmic 20 points, six boards and six assists on 5/11 three-point shooting.
Ballarat Miners (99) lost to Northern Force (117)
The Northern Force made it a perfect weekend on the road with the 117-99 win over the Ballarat Miners with Kye Savage starring with 33 points and five three-pointers.
The Force opened their weekend beating the Pioneers in Mount Gambier back on Friday night while Ballarat were attempting to bounce back from a loss to Casey on Saturday night hosting them at Selkirk Stadium.
The Force started well to be leading by five at quarter-time before another 31 points to 29 in the second term to head into half-time leading 57-50.
The visitors remained in charge through the second half with the lead growing to 16 points in the third stanza and 19 in the fourth before they secured the 18-point victory.
It makes it three straight wins for the Force now as they improve to a 5-11 record with Kye Savage putting up 33 points, five assists and four rebounds on 5/14 three-point shooting.
Logan Gibson also had 24 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and two steals, Ole Angerstein 20 points, 13 boards and two assists, Vincent DeAngelo 17 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and three steals, and Aaron Ridley III 15 points, three assists and three steals.
Ballarat remain in bottom place at 2-15 with their double loss weekend with Will Hynes top scoring with 23 points with six rebounds and two assists.
Jaden Campbell added 18 points, four rebounds and two assists, Lachlan Dent 15 points and four assists, Bol Bak 12 points and three rebounds, and Ethan Fiegert seven points, seven boards, four assists and two blocks.
Casey Cavaliers (67) lost to Keilor Thunder (78)
Tana Kopa hit another five three-pointers and Keilor Thunder made it a double win weekend with the 78-67 road win over the Casey Cavaliers.
Both teams were fresh off Saturday night wins with Casey beating the Ballarat Miners while Keilor downed the Sandringham Sabres ahead of their Sunday clash at Casey Stadium.
Keilor started strongly with a 10-0 run in the first quarter to open up a 13-point lead before still being up 26-17 by quarter-time.
The Thunder were still leading 48-39 by half-time and then maintained that advantage through the second half on the way to the 11-point victory to improve to a 10-6 record with the two wins this weekend.
Tana Kopa made another 5/12 from beyond the arc for 22 points and nine rebounds with Daniel Foster adding 15 points, seven boards, four assists and three steals, Deng Dut 11 points, six assists and four rebounds, and Matthew Johnson 11 points and four boards.
Casey are now 9-6 having split their weekend double with Jesse Ghee finishing with 17 points, nine rebounds, three assists and two blocks.
Ibrahima Diallo also had 14 points, 11 rebounds, three blocks and two assists, Pat Ryan 12 points, four boards and two assists, and Joel Robinson 10 points and three rebounds.
Mount Gambier Pioneers (75) lost to Geelong United (77)
Lachlan Barker hit two clutch free throws and had 25 points to help secure the 77-75 road win for Geelong United against the Mount Gambier Pioneers.
Geelong arrived at Wulanda Recreation and Convention Centre having not played since losing to Dandenong back on May 31 while the Pioneers remained at home try to hit back from a loss on Friday to the Northern Force.
Geelong made a flying start with 25 points to 14 in the first quarter before leading by as much as 16 in the second term but Mount Gambier fired back in third term with 27 points to 15 to grab the lead.
The Pioneers then found themselves up four early in the fourth stanza but Geelong responded once more with a 10-0 run to go back up six and then hold on in the finish for the two-point victory.
Geelong improve to a 4-11 record with the win with Lachlan Barker producing 25 points, six rebounds and four assists with DeMarcus Gatlin adding 20 points, eight boards, six steals and two assists.
Malik Hunt also had 13 points and six rebounds.
Mount Gambier are now 5-10 after the double loss weekend with Ngor Manyang finishing with 16 points, three rebounds and two steals with Deng Deng adding 16 points, nine boards, three steals and two assists.
Alex Mudronja ended up with nine points, five rebounds and four assists, Lucas Gordon nine points and eight boards, Elijah Saifaleupolu eight points on 2/2 three-point shooting, and Titus Robinson seven points and four rebounds.
Nunawading Spectres (95) lost to Knox Raiders (104)
Trazarien White scored 28 points with eight assists to lead the Knox Raiders to a second win of the weekend beating the Nunawading Spectres 104-95 to move to the top of the NBL1 South.
Both teams arrived at Nunawading Basketball Centre on Sunday afternoon fresh off Saturday night wins with the Spectres winning on the road to the Waverley Falcons with the Raiders prevailing in a three-point thriller at home to the Ringwood Hawks.
The Raiders made their move in the second quarter with 32 points on 14/18 shooting from the field and even though Nunawading kept on battling and were within four by three quarter-time, and again late in the piece, Knox continued to have the answers.
In the end, Knox secured the nine-point victory to make it a double win weekend to improve to a 12-4 record to now sit on top.
Trazarien White showed the way with another 28 points, eight assists and six rebounds with 12/17 field goal shooting.
Tad Dufelmeier also had 20 points and seven rebounds with 4/7 shooting from downtown with Brandon Slater contributing 17 points, nine boards and two assists, Brody Nunn 13 points, four rebounds and three assists, and Kobe Williamson 11 points and six boards.
Ben Griscti continued his tremendous form on return from the nasty neck injury that ended his NBL26 season before it even started with the Adelaide 36ers. He finished with 27 points, seven rebounds and three steals with 3/6 three-point shooting.
Christian D'Angelo added 22 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and two steals, Kingsley Box 18 points, five boards and two assists, Dylan Penn 16 points, 10 assists, two rebounds and two steals, and Owen Lobsinger 12 points, seven boards, three assists and three steals.
Bendigo Braves (95) defeated Kilsyth Cobras (78)
Jarvis Doles and Biwali Bayles combined for 51 points, 21 rebounds and 12 assists to lead the Bendigo Braves to the Sunday 95-78 home win against the Kilsyth Cobras.
The Braves were playing their first game since beating the Waverley Falcons back on May 30 as they hosted the Cobras at Red Energy Arena who were also playing for the first time since losing to the Knox Raiders two weeks ago.
The Cobras then started strongly with 26 points to 18 in the first quarter before Bendigo responded with 23 to 17 in the second to cut the Kilsyth advantage back to 43-41.
The Braves took charge in the second half with 23 points to 16 in the third period and 31 to 19 in the fourth on the way to the 17-point victory to improve them to a 7-7 record.
Jarvis Doles put up 27 points, 12 rebounds and four assists in the win with 3/6 three-point shooting while Biwali Bayles had 24 points, nine boards, eight assists, four steals and two blocked shots.
Billy Smythe also had 19 points and six rebounds on 8/8 shooting with Seth Anderson contributing 11 points, three steals and two boards.
Kilsyth are now 7-7 with four straight defeats with Jamie Ahale ending up with 25 points, seven rebounds and three assists with Chris Payton Jr adding 12 points, seven boards, three assists, three blocks and two steals, Malik McKinney 11 points, five assists and four rebounds, and Corey Jeffs 10 points.
