West Banner

Alex Sharp (Rockingham Flames)

The reigning NBL1 West MVP is heading to the Rockingham Flames for the 2024 season. 

Last season she led the Willetton Tigers to their third-straight Grand Final and averaged 21.5  points per game, 13.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists.

Buay Tuach (South West Slammers) 

The club MVP was a scoring machine for the Slammers this season, averaging 22 points per game and had four 30+ point games across the season.

Ryan Godfrey (Rockingham Flames)

The captain of the Rockingham Flames and the glue of the club is back for two more seasons to lead once again.

Amelia Corasaniti (Cockburn Cougars) 

The 16-year-old guard for the NBL1 West women’s championship made her debut last season and will now return for the 2024 season. After averaging 4.1 points and 2.8 rebounds per game last season, her impact will only grow with age on the defending champions next season.

Sherrie Calleia (Mount Gambier Pionners)

The Pioneers star point guard had an outstanding fourth season with the club, averaging 10.6 points, 5.7 assists and 5.8 rebounds for the Finals team. 

She progressed into one of the best playmakers in the conference and still has many years to come at only age 24.

Nick Wurm (Woodville Warriors) 

Last playing for the Warriors in the 2022 season, where they reached the Grand Final, Nick Wurm has made his return to the NBL1 for this coming season.

In the 2022 season, he averaged 15.7 points and 3.7 assists for the top-seeded Warriors. He’s most recently coming off a season in Italy playing for Basket Gubbio. 

Banner East

Maddie O’Hehir (Norths Bears) 

The NBL1 East champion is the first Bears player to re-sign for the 2024 season.

Coming off a year where she averaged 13 points per game for Norths, she had a season-high of 32 points with six made triples in the NBL1 National Finals against the Norwood Flames.
