Perry Lakes adds Smith, McCarthy to 2021 NBL1 West roster

The Perry Lakes Hawks’ 2021 NBL1 West continues to take shape with the signings of Ryan Smith (men) and Millie McCarthy (women).

Smith has played 134 senior games for Perry Lakes. In the 2020 West Coast Classic he averaged 13.6 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. Smith joins Ben Purser, Rob Cassir, Andrew Ferguson and Lewis Thomas on the Hawks’ men’s roster for the forthcoming campaign.

McCarthy is a homegrown exciting junior who already has 22 senior games under her belt. She was a WA representative in the Australian Junior Championships in 2019. She joins Annika Renkema, Nat Burton, Megan McKay and Maddy Dennis on the club’s women’s roster for 2021.
