The Australian women's team has advanced to the Semi-Finals at the FIBA 3x3 World Cup, following a big win on Sunday morning, Australian time.
The Gangurrus defeated Spain 21-10 in an impressive display, and are now set to take on France on Sunday night at 10.55pm AEST. A place in the final is on the line for the victor.
Ringwood Hawks star Marena Whittle was the x-factor for the Australian team, with nine points and six rebounds, while Anneli Maley had three points to go with three rebounds.

The men's team were knocked out in the pool stages, despite a starring role from South Adelaide Panthers superstar Daniel Johnson.
