Each week the NBL1 will put a spotlight on a women’s and men’s team from each conference for a major performance, a big win or a special occasion for the club.

See the men's Teams of the Week below:

NBL1 West: Perry Lakes Hawks

Perry Lakes locked in its finals spot with two big wins this past week.

In a Friday night blockbuster, a Mitch Clarke game winner saw the Hawks soar over the Tigers, before they cooled down the Suns on Saturday.

NBL1 East: Maitland Mustangs

Maitland’s winning streak has reached eight games and no victory has been as authoritative as this weekend’s 110-79 beatdown of the fourth placed Sutherland.

The Mustangs loom dangerously in fifth placed, ready to pounce into the top four with games against Illawarra and Penrith to come this weekend.

NBL1 South: Nunawading Spectres

The Spectres have won three of their past four, including an important 96-88 victory over the Sabres, as they hunt down fourth spot.

With games against Bendigo and an out of form Frankston this weekend, Nunawading has a chance to keep putting the pressure on the top four.

NBL1 North: Ipswich Force

A thrilling night of basketball in Ipswich on Saturday night ended with the Force defeating the Salties, 106-105.

A Jason Ralph three-pointer with seven seconds remaining, followed by a defensive stand, secured the win, and sees Ipswich hold onto third place with the finals fast approaching.

NBL1 Central: West Adelaide Bearcats

In a top of the table clash, it was the Bearcats who showed why they reside in first place, with a thrilling 82-78 win over the Eagles.

West Adelaide turned a nine-point three-quarter time deficit into the four-point win, led by Lachlan Olbrich’s 24 points, and Mitch McCarron’s stat stuffing line of 21 points, eight rebounds, five steals and four assists.
