Frankston to host NBL1 South Blitz 2023

Frankston Blues (FDBA) are pleased to announce that the club will be hosting the Coles Express NBL1 South 2023 Blitz.

Set to run on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th of March, NBL1 South teams from across the state will test each other over two action-packed days.

The first NBL1 Blitz was in 2019 in line with the inaugural NBL1 season.

FDBA’s Manager - Frankston Blues; Daniel Spangler spoke about the upcoming event.

“Since the beginning of NBL1, the Association has tried to put on the best game night experience we can.”

“This has seen the club sell-out regular season and finals games since 2019, given the Association the opportunity to host the first two NBL1 All-Star games in 2019, and more recently host South East Melbourne Phoenix in a practice game in 2022.”

“Frankston Blues fans will be able to catch our Men and Women on a Saturday night and Sunday morning, with club activations to be announced soon.”

NBL1 South League Manager Alison Cody spoke about the partnership.
