The Forestville Eagles have continued their proactive off-season after an NBL1 Central championship, signing veteran guard Adam Doyle for his sixth consecutive year in blue and yellow.
The 34-year-old has grown a reputation as one of the NBL1’s most durable players, featuring in more than 20 games during each of his five seasons with the Eagles.
Doyle averaged more than 10 points per game in a season for the first time since 2024, hitting a career-high 47 per cent from the field, despite playing a career-low in minutes. Part of this ascension was Doyle’s improved consistency from downtown, hitting two and a half three-pointers per game in 2026.
His improvement from beyond the arc showed face against the Central Districts Lions, scoring 25 points on 10 shots and, impressively, converting all seven of his attempts from three-point range.
Doyle joins fellow starters Daniel Johnson and Greg Mays as men’s players who have recommitted to the Eagles in 2027, as they commence a fresh chapter under 2027 Men’s Head Coach Kerry Williams.
