NBL1 North
South West Metro Pirates: Leah Scott
Pirates’ forward Leah Scott delivered important minutes over the weekend with 29 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists over the Gold Coast Rollers. The Pirates won 92-84 on the road, with Scott assisting the team in reaching third place on the ladder.
In Scott’s 37-minutes, the 30-year-old shot at 52.6% on two-point attempts and now has brought her season average to 23.2 points, 12.1 rebounds and 4.4 assists.

Southern Districts Spartans: Koen Sapwell
24-year-old Koen Sapwell was a standout for the Spartans’ 2-0 winning weekend. Sapwell’s weekend average was 35 points, 4.5 rebounds and 7 assists per game.
Sapwell put down 30 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists while destroying the stat lines in Game 2 with a massive 40 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists in 40 minutes.
The guard had a clear goal in mind to take charge on the offensive end and he didn’t disappoint to get the Spartans over the line.

NBL1 East
Sutherland Sharks: Lauren Nicholson
Basketball great Lauren Nicholson led the Sharks to a 33-point win on Sunday.
Shooting 60 percent from the field, Nicholson dropped 31 points in 35 minutes. The WNBL star also stuffed the stat sheet with 6 rebounds, 6 assists, 6 steals and 1 block.
Having only played three games this season due to her WNBL stint with the championship winners, Townsville Flames, Nicholson has averaged an impressive 24.3 points per game.

Inner West Bulls: Blake Morrow
The Bulls are flying through the season with star shooter Blake Morrow remaining on top of his game to maintain their 10-1 record.
Morrow recorded 36 points, 4 rebounds and 9 assists in their 97-91 win over the Maitland Mustangs.

NBL1 South
Mount Gambier Pioneers: Miela Goodchild
A standout performance from Goodchild saw a dominating first and last quarter help the Pioneers hold the Waverley Falcons at bay.
Goodchild put down 37 points, 12 rebounds, and 6 assists for the Pioneers in the win over the second placed Falcons.

Knox Raiders: Wayne Stewart Jr
A 2-0 weekend for the Raiders was led by import Stewart Jr, who top scored in both games.
Stewart Jr averaged 30.5 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists in Knox’s two wins. A massive double-double against the Ballarat Miners allowed the Raiders to claim the win.

NBL1 West
Perry Lakes Hawks: Ashleigh Isenbarger
Isenbarger had a weekend to remember with a 10-block triple-double on Friday and a game-winner on Saturday.
With an average of 18.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 5.5 blocks, the Hawks are rising off the back of her outstanding Round 7.

Perth Redbacks: Bryton Hobbs
The NBL1 West star led the Redbacks to the win on the road against the then-defeated Rockingham Flames.
The reigning champions were no match for Hobbs, who dropped 33 points with 7 rebounds and 3 steals.

Woodville Warriors: Nicole Fransson
After falling short at home, Fransson and the Warriors bounced back with a 9-point win on the road against the Central Districts Lions.
Fransson dominated in the victory, recording 28 points and 17 rebounds.
Her average over the two games came to 20 points, 17 rebounds and 1.5 assists.

Sturt Sabres: Jordan Forbes
Forbes hit a triple-double over the weekend against the South Adelaide Panthers. He provided 30 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists in the Sabres’ 28-point win.
He averaged 22 points, 8.5 rebounds and 8 assists over the two games.
