The Bendigo Braves have announced the return of all-time WNBL games and assists record-holder and five-time champion Kelly Wilson for the 2026 NBL1 South season.

The Bendigo Braves have announced the return of all-time WNBL games and assists record-holder and five-time champion Kelly Wilson for the 2026 NBL1 South season.
Last appearing for the Braves in 2024, Wilson has truly done it all in NBL1 with a 2023 National Finals victory and All-Star Five appearance to her name along with NBL1 South championship and All-Star Five appearance in the same season.
Wilson also claimed the NBL1 MVP award in 2019, averaging 19.3 points, 10.5 assists, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per game in the inaugural season of the competition.
With five WNBL championships to her name, and a record total of over 450 WNBL games, Wilson will bring plenty more winning pedigree to an impressive Braves lineup being led by new head coach Tess Madgen in 2026.
Fresh off brief recent stint with the Bendigo Spirit at the back end of the 2025-26 WNBL season, Wilson will undoubtedly play a crucial role in the direction of this new look Braves outfit.
