Cheryl Chambers Re-signs with Sandringham

Cheryl Chambers has re-signed as head coach of the Sandringham Sabres NBL1 Women for the 2027 season.

Chambers will continue at the helm after guiding Sandringham to fifth place in 2026 with a 15–7 record.

The Sabres advanced through the opening two weeks of the finals before their season ended in the preliminary final.

Chambers has also been appointed head coach of the Geelong Venom for the upcoming WNBL season, adding to her extensive coaching experience at the elite level.

She will now lead Sandringham into another campaign as the Sabres look to build on their 2026 finals run and contend again in 2027.
