Buckley back with the Eastern Suns in 2021

The Kalamunda Eastern Suns have re-signed veteran Lizel Buckley for the forthcoming 2021 NBL1 West season.

This will be Buckley’s second consecutive season with the Eastern Suns in her second stint with the club. She first played for Kalamunda from 2011-2014, before playing with the Rockingham Flames (2015-2016) and Lakeside Lightning (2018), and then returning to the Eastern Suns for the 2020 West Coast Classic.

In the WCC, Buckley averaged 12.9 minutes per game for Kalamunda. She joins Jewel Williams, Rebecca Motroni, Ellyce Ironmonger and Courtney Mansfield on the Eastern Suns roster for the 2021 NBL1 West season.
