Blitz Ready: NBL1 South 2026 Pre-Season Hits Port Melbourne

The countdown to the NBL1 South 2026 season is almost over, with all clubs coming together from March 13–15 at Hoop City – Port Melbourne for the annual Pre-Season Blitz.

Held at CourtSide, the three-day event gives teams the chance to get valuable match practice under official conditions as they build chemistry and sharpen up ahead of Round 1.

Away from the games, the weekend also includes media commitments, sports integrity education sessions for all players, coaches and club staff, along with development opportunities for referees and technical officials. Friday night’s Season Launch will officially kick off the 2026 campaign in front of the wider NBL1 South community.

Best of all, entry is FREE all weekend, so fans can drop in, catch the action and get an early look at their teams before the season tips off. Peaches Café will be open throughout the event, making it easy to grab a coffee or bite to eat while enjoying the basketball.

It’s the perfect way to roll into the new season.
