The Lakeside Lightning is the High-Performance Basketball Program at Lakeside. It includes our Men’s and Women’s NBL1 West teams, plus a junior program with boys' and girls' teams competing in the WA Basketball League (WABL), operated by Basketball WA. The Lakeside Lightning is a Community Service provided by Lakeside Baptist Church.
The Lakeside Recreation Centre has played an active part in the local community since 1992. Owned and operated by Lakeside Baptist Church, we provide quality facilities and services that foster real connections, develop people, and build relationships.
Over 7,000 people move through Lakeside every week. This includes players, coaches, spectators, gym-goers, the church body, as well as schools and community groups, that participate in the various programs we have on offer.
