WNBL’s Isenbarger joins Lakeside in NBL1 West

Perth Lynx WNBL player Ashleigh Isenbarger has signed with the Lakeside Lightning for the 2021 NBL1 West season.

Isenbarger played 13 games for the Lynx in the last WNBL campaign, averaging 12.2 minutes per game as she continued developing at the top level. She now returns to the Lightning – the same team she has played for since 2012 – looking to taste NBL1 success.

“Ash started playing at Lakeside when she was about seven and is a great example to younger players of the pathway through WABL state teams and NBL1 West to her ultimate goal of the WNBL,” coach Dave Daniels said.

In the 2020 West Coast Classic, Isenbarger averaged 20.2 points and 11.4 rebounds per game for the Lightning.
