WNBL talent Boag signs with Flames

SBL championship winning forward and Sydney Uni Flames WNBL player Christina Boag will return to the Rockingham Flames for a third season in 2021.

Boag played for the Flames in the 2020 West Coast Classic where she averaged 14.0 points and 7.9 rebounds per game, before joining Sydney for the 2020 WNBL season.

“I love it there and talking to (Flames president) Warren (Boucaut) and hearing who we’re getting back from the championship team that we had, I couldn’t say no to coming back and trying to win another championship with that team; it was a fun team and I thoroughly enjoyed that championship season and hopefully we can do it again,” Boag said via rockinghamflames.com.au.

Boag joins Alex Ciabattoni and Tayah Burrows on Rockingham’s 2021 NBL1 West women’s team.
