But the dynamic Kalamunda back court of Cook-Green and Sam along with the all-round talents of Smith helped the Eastern Suns take charge in the second half to build a 19-point lead and score the 13-point victory.

Warwick came into the game at Arena Joondalup having won just four of 13 games so far this season as they took on a Joondalup team with plenty of momentum having won their past four matches.

It was a flying start from the Wolfpack with 30 points to 19 in the first quarter before that lead blew out to 23 in the second term with the home team putting up another 36 points to 24.

That saw Joondalup leading 66-43 already at half-time with that lead continuing to grow and getting out to 29 points in the third frame, and 30 in the fourth before they won by 29 and improved to 10-3 with the five straight wins.
