The Ballarat Miners are thrilled to announce they have extended their partnership with RADcentre for a further two years which now includes physiotherapy services.
The RADcentre has been the Miners performance manager since 2019 providing elite strength and condition services for the last four years.
More recently the RADcentre has increased its physiotherapy capabilities and from 2023 will also be the preferred physiotherapy provider for the Miners and Basketball Ballarat.
RADcentre Managing Director Chris Radford said “We are pleased to continue our Partnership with the Ballarat Miners and the wider Basketball community. Each year we have seen continual growth in players who have consistently worked with the strength and conditioning program.”
Radford added, “The addition of now being the Miners Physiotherapist allows our team of practitioners and coaches to work in close communication to ensure players are given the best type of care”.
Basketball Ballarat’s Partnerships Manager Melissa Thomas said, “We have seen great results in the last four years with our athletes getting stronger and better on the court thanks to the work of the coaches at the RADcentre.”
Thomas added, “The addition of the RAD Physiotherapy provides our athletes with one consistent message when dealing with body niggles and injury which is easily communicated to our coaching staff for the overall benefit of our athletes”.

In addition to the NBL1 Miners, the RADcentre also offers discounted gym memberships to Youth League and Junior Ballarat Representative athletes as well as online resources relating to improving performance and specific body injuries.
