The Suns controlled the paint throughout, outrebounding their opponents by a massive 61-36 margin and converting those extra possessions into 52 points in the paint. Marshall Nelson led the charge with 20 points and seven boards, while Travis Fee added 14 points and seven rebounds. The Eastern side's ball movement was superior with 20 assists compared to just 10 for the Slammers, and they capitalized on the fast break with a 16-4 advantage in transition.
The Slammers struggled to find their rhythm, shooting just 36 percent from the field and an ice-cold 17 percent from beyond the arc.
