The Adelaide 36ers have made another move to consolidate their depth ahead of the Hungry Jack’s NBL27 Season, signing 27-year-old local Jacob Rigoni as a Nominated Replacement Player.
The 197cm forward was a key contributor during the Sturt Sabres’ 15-3 NBL1 Central campaign, averaging 22.8 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 2.7 assists, while converting 38 per cent of his triples, across his 19 appearances.
Rigoni is no stranger to the Sixers, having played for the club on 12 occasions from 2023 to 2025.
Prior to this NBL career, Rigoni spent five seasons in the US college system with Quinnipiac Bobcats before spending one season playing in the German Pro A league for Dusseldorf.
Rigoni is the fourth signing of the 36ers offseason, joining alongside NBL1 East recruit Deonte Williams, NCAA acquisition Harvey White, and NBL26 champion Bul Kuol.
The Adelaide 36ers tip off their 2026-27 season at John Cain Arena against Melbourne United, during NBL27’s Opening Night on Saturday, September 19.
