Ballarat Miners Head Coach Luke Brennan said, “I’m very excited to welcome Nick to the Miners family, he is a high-level scorer and an underrated defender that will compliment our local core really well.”
Brennan added, “On top of his obvious basketball skill, he’s a great guy who wants the best for himself, his teammates and the entire Ballarat Miners community.”
Ballarat Miners Elite Teams Committee Member Matt Sheehan said, “We are extremely excited to have Nick join the Miners Men’s program. Nick’s played most of his basketball in QLD and comes to the NBL1 South wanting to further challenge and push himself in the tough NBL1 South League. Nick’s a genuine scorer and a hard nut on the defensive end which is what coach Luke Brennan is looking for.”
Sheehan added “Nick comes wanting to further improve his basketball career with Coach Luke Brennan at the helm and will slot in nicely with the current squad.”
Stoddart is the fifth Miners Men’s player announced for the 2024 NBL1 South season behind returning players in Jake Lloyd, Max Cody, Amos Brooks, & returning import MVP Tyler Rudolph.
The NBL1 South Season begins on April 3rd when the Miners take on Bendigo Braves at Selkirk Stadium. Memberships are now on sale via Miners Memberships
