Star NBL1 East guard Quinn Slazinski has earned himself a chance at redemption in the NBA G League, being selected with the 42nd pick in the 2026 Draft by the Rip City Remix.
Slazinski excelled for the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in the 2026 NBL1 East season, averaging 23.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.6 three-pointers per game.
The 25-year-old’s efforts earned him NBL1 East All-Star Five honours, selected alongside NBL talents Todd Blanchfield, Lachie Bofinger, Jai Fa’ale, and Tyler Robertson.
In 22 appearances, Slazinski was a consistent performer, scoring 14 points or more in every game, and was pivotal to Manly’s victories.
Of the nine games where the 6’9” guard scored more than 25 points, his team went 8-1.
When Slazinski spoke in April 2026, he said he hoped his contributions to Manly would lead to reaching his goal of making the NBL.
“I’m definitely trying to do whatever I can to make that [goal of making the NBL] happen so I’m just here at Manly trying to help do whatever I can to help my team win, and then see if you can get noticed,” he told Chris Pike of NBL1.com.au.
Slazinski returns to the United States after two brief stints in the 2024–25 G League season, where he suited up for five total games with the Wisconsin Herd and Raptors 905.
Slazinski, having now been noticed by overseas eyes due to his NBL1 form, has his chance at solidifying a spot in the Remix rotation, with a chip on his shoulder.
