Seven NBL1 players selected for FIBA World Cup qualifiers

The Australian Boomers team will head to Kazakhstan to play in the fifth window of the FIBA World Cup qualifiers. The Boomers will play one game against Kazakhstan on Saturday 12 November 2022.

The squad features seven NBL1 players, including two young stars from the Basketball Australia Centre of Exellence Rory Hawke and Alex Toohey.
Dejan Vasiljevic was named to the All-Star Five in the NBL1 South playing for the Diamond Valley Eagles and the rest of the NBL1 stars all competed in the talented NBL1 North conference.
