There were two more NBL1 North wins for the undefeated Cairns Marlins while the Gold Coast Rollers put up 136 points in a big win and the Ipswich Force had 40 points in the fourth quarter to win by 40.

Kody Stattmann had another 66 points over two Cairns Marlins NBL1 North wins with Cal Dalton and Shaun Bruce starring for Logan Thunder as did Flynn Cameron for South West Metro Pirates, Boston Mazlin for Gold Coast Rollers and Lachlan Anderson for Ipswich Force.

FRIDAY
Gold Coast Rollers (136) defeated Southern Districts Spartans (87)
The Gold Coast Rollers produced another dazzling offensive display putting up 136 points with 15/27 three-point shooting and on the back of 27 first half points from Boston Mazlin for the 136-87 win over the Southern Districts Spartans.
The Rollers suffered their second loss of the season two weeks ago to the undefeated Cairns Marlins as they were back home on Friday night at Carrara Indoor Sports Stadium hosting the defending champion Spartans.
Gold Coast were on fire right from the start with 37 points in the first quarter and another 37 in the second to be leading 74-47 already by half-time with 11/18 three-point shooting and with Mazlin already having 27 of those points.
It was another 36 points to 15 in the third term and eventually the Rollers went on to score the 49-point win on the back of them putting 136 points on the board while shooting 66 per cent form the floor, 15/27 from downtown and 17/23 at the foul line.
Gold Coast improve to an 8-2 record as a result with Mazlin ending the night with 35 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals on 6/12 three-point shooting.
Preston Le Gassick was brilliant running the show once more with 27 points, 14 assists and eight rebounds with 4/8 three-point shooting too while James Whitt added 20 points, seven assists, three boards and two steals on 10/12 shooting.
Jensen Bradtke also had 19 points, 10 rebounds and three assists, Brodie McGregor nine points, five boards and four assists, and Cooper Urquhart nine points and three rebounds.
Southern Districts are now 5-6 following the loss as reigning champions with Tamuri Wigness finishing with 15 points and seven assists while Griffin Biwer added 13 points and five rebounds, Andre Ugrinic 10 points and five boards, and Troy Baxter Jr 10 points and three rebounds.
Mackay Meteors (99) defeated North Gold Coast Seahawks (84)
The Mackay Meteors delivered a strong all-round showing on the way to the 99-84 win over the North Gold Coast Seahawks to make it back-to-back wins.
The Meteors were back home at Mackay Basketball Stadium coming off a win against the Northside Wizards while the Seahawks were starting their road double weekend in North Queensland.
Mackay started strongly with 20 points to 15 in the first quarter before another 26 to 18 in the second term on the way to the 46-33 half-time edge.
That lead continued to grow for the Meteors with it out to as much as 28 in the fourth quarter before North Gold Coast did finish strongly to get the final margin back to 15 points.
Mackay improves to a 6-4 record with a second straight win with Kobey Sager adding 17 points and seven rebounds on 6/11 field goal shooting with 5/5 free-throw shooting.
Derek Emelifeonwu also had 13 points, five assists, three rebounds and two steals, Jalen Johnson 13 points, eight boards and two assists, Kye Medhurst 11 points and two rebounds, and Justin Ochaya 11 points, two boards, two assists and two steals.
The Seahawks start their double weekend slipping to a 1-8 record with Sean Murphy delivering 17 points, 11 rebounds and four assists on 7/12 field goal shooting.
Jasraj Gill added 14 points, five rebounds and four assists, Isaiah Oste-Pinder 16 points, four boards and three assists, and Zahn Agosta 11 points, three rebounds, three steals and two assists.
Rockhampton Rockets (85) lost to Cairns Marlins (118)
Kody Stattmann continues to bang down the door for another NBL contract and put in a 40-point performance to lead the Cairns Marlins to the 118-85 road win over the Rockhampton Rockets.
Cairns started their away double at Bravus Arena putting their undefeated record on the line against a Rockhampton team having lost four straight including all three on the road last weekend.
The scores were all locked at 29-29 by the end of the first quarter before Rockhampton had a five-point lead in the second period only for the Marlins to respond with a 9-0 run to be leading 53-49 by half-time.
Cairns then blew the game open in the third quarter by opening up a 21-point advantage on the back of outscoring the Rockets 37 points to 20.
It was another 28 points to 16 in the final term for Cairns to eventually score the 33-point victory to improve to a perfect 8-0 record to start the season.
Kody Stattmann continued to show that he's now at the peak of his powers with another 40 points, nine rebounds and three assists with 15/27 shooting from the floor and 9/10 at the foul line.
Luca Yates also put up 22 points and 12 rebounds, Ky Stattmann 17 points, six rebounds and two assists, Amarco Doyle 12 points, six boards and three assists, and Kobe McDowell-White 10 points, five rebounds and four assists.
Rockhampton have now lost five straight to be 2-9 with Jalen Graham delivering 23 points and five rebounds with 10/16 shooting from the floor.
Jack Tweedy added 21 points, three assists and two rebounds, Junior Madut 14 points, four assists and three boards, and Treauhn Williams seven points, five rebounds and five assists.

SATURDAY
Brisbane Capitals (89) lost to Cairns Marlins (114)
Kody Stattmann had another 26 points and had plenty of help as the Cairns Marlins maintained their undefeated record this season with the 114-89 hammering of the Brisbane Capitals.
The Marlins were fresh off a big win in Rockhampton the previous night ahead of taking on the Caps at Auchenflower Stadium who were attempting to bounce back from a last up loss also on their home floor to the Townsville Heat.
It was a tight affair for much of the first half until just before the break Cairns worked on top and ended up having 33 points to 22 in the second quarter to go into the break on top 53-45.
It was another 30 points to 20 in the third period from the Marlins and then 31 to 24 in the fourth on the way to the eventual 25-point victory to improve to the perfect 9-0 record on the season.
Kobe McDowell-White ended up with 29 points, eight assists and six rebounds with 4/7 three-point shooting for Cairns with Kody Stattmann having another 26 points, eight boards and four assists with 3/6 shooting from deep.
Amarco Doyle also had 18 points and four rebounds, Ky Stattmann 16 points, two boards and two blocks, and Luca Yates 12 points, 18 rebounds and four assists.
The Capitals are now 6-5 after back-to-back losses with Kai Bloom top scoring with 21 points, five assists and three rebounds on 3/4 three-point shooting.
Brendan Teys added 13 points, five assists, three rebounds and three steals, Geordan Papacostas 13 points, seven boards and six assists, Chuatwech Reath 11 points and four rebounds, and Jarred Bairstow a triple double made up of 11 points, 11 boards and 10 assists.
South West Metro Pirates (102) defeated Sunshine Coast Phoenix (92)
Adelaide 36ers NBL star Flynn Cameron inspired the South West Metro Pirates to a first win last week and he backed up with another 31 points to make it back-to-back wins beating the Sunshine Coast Phoenix 102-92.
The Pirates were back home at Hibiscus Sports Stadium coming off a breakthrough win last Saturday night against the Rockhampton Rockets while Sunshine Coast arrived in hot form having won their past five matches.
Sunshine Coast did open up an early eight-point lead but South West Metro had drawn back level by quarter-time before taking over to lead by 10 at half-time and then maintain that advantage through the second half.
The Pirates ended up securing the 10-point victory to make it consecutive wins to improve to a 2-8 record while the Phoenix's five-game winning run came to an end with them now sitting at 7-3.
After starring in their win over Rockhampton last week, Cameron had another 31 points, eight rebounds and four assists with 12/22 field goal shooting along with going 4/12 from downtown, and 3/5 at the foul line.
Dominique Keyes added 18 points and 17 rebounds, Darryl McDowell-White 16 points, nine assists, seven boards and three steals, Louis Jones 11 points and three assists, and Jonas Kowalik nine points and three rebounds.
Darnell Robateau delivered 23 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds to continue his standout form this season for the Phoenix on 8/14 shooting from the floor and 4/8 from behind the arc.
Luke Anderson top scored with another 29 points and 10 rebounds on 5/8 three-point shooting with Erik Kafritsas contributing 14 points and four steals, Earnest Ross 13 points and 10 rebounds, Liam Switzer six points, seven boards and three blocks, and Jamaal Robateau four points and nine rebounds.
Townsville Heat (87) lost to North Gold Coast Seahawks (90)
The North Gold Coast Seahawks held on in a thriller to beat the Townsville Heat 90-87 to head home from their road trip in North Queensland happy.
Townsville were back home at Carmichael Ford Stadium trying to hit back from a loss on the road to the Southern Districts Spartans as they took on a North Gold Coast team who had lost to the Mackay Meteors the previous night to start their road double.
The Heat were the fresher of the two teams and they started well with 30 points to 22 in the first quarter and then went on to lead by 12 points in the second term to still be up 51-43 by half-time.
That lead for Townsville grew to as much as 13 points in the third quarter as well and the home team was still leading by six at three quarter-time, but it was all the Seahawks from there.
North Gold Coast delivered 24 points to 15 in the final quarter to come from behind and score the three-point win to wrap up their road double with a 2-8 record.
Cole Ross provided 19 points, 13 rebounds and two steals for the Seahawks, Isaiah Oste-Pinder 19 points and five boards, and Sean Murphy 19 points, 11 rebounds and four assists.
Zahn Agosta also contributed nine points and three rebounds, Jasraj Gill eight points, four assists, four blocks and three boards, and Conor O'Sullivan seven points, six rebounds and three assists.
Townsville are now 3-7 following the home defeat with Nathaniel Pollard Jr finishing with 19 points, nine rebounds and three assists.
Ethan Betts also had 15 points, seven assists and four rebounds, Steven Richardson Jr 11 points, 10 boards and eight assists, Richard Peachey 10 points and two rebounds, and Chris Kann 10 points and three boards.
Southern Districts Spartans (84) lost to Logan Thunder (124)
Cal Dalton, Tyrone Fui and Shaun Bruce all had huge showings once more for Logan Thunder in a thumping win 124-84 on the road to the reigning champion Southern Districts Spartans.
The Spartans returned home to Rowland Cowan Stadium trying to hit back from the previous night's 49-point loss to the Gold Coast Rollers as they hosted a Logan team having won six of eight games so far in 2026.
The Spartans did begin well to be leading by a point at quarter-time before Logan got going in the second period with 31 points to 20 to go into half-time leading 57-47.
It was then a massive second half from the Thunder with 37 points to 21 in the third quarter, and 30 to 16 in the last on the way to the 40-point victory to improve to a 7-2 record.
Cal Dalton dominated inside for Logan and ended up with 29 points, 11 rebounds and two assists on 11/19 field goal shooting along with stepping out to knock down 2/3 from downtown.
Tyrone Fui landed 4/6 from behind the three-point line for 23 points, three rebounds and two assists with Shaun Bruce having another 21 points, 13 assists, seven boards and two steals with 5/7 three-point shooting.
Zac Triplett added 14 points, six assists and three rebounds, and Hunter Marks 12 points, six boards and three assists.
Southern Districts continue to struggle in their championship defence to now be 5-7 after the double loss weekend with Max Kerle finishing with 20 points, three rebounds and three assists on 4/8 shooting from downtown.
Troy Baxter Jr added 19 points and four rebounds with shooting 4/8 from beyond the arc, and Tamuri Wigness 15 points, six assists and three boards.

SUNDAY
Ipswich Force (121) defeated Northside Wizards (81)
Lachlan Anderson scored 21 of the 40 Ipswich Force points in the fourth quarter on the way to the 121-81 thumping home win against the Northside Wizards on Sunday.
It was the only game of the round for both teams when they met on Sunday afternoon at Ipswich Basketball Stadium with the Force coming into the contest having won three straight with the Wizards trying to bounce back from a loss to the Sunshine Coast Phoenix.
It was in the second quarter when Ipswich made their move with 33 points to 19 to go into half-time leading 56-40.
That advantage was only out to 18 by three quarter-time but then Anderson delivered a scorching fourth quarter with 21 points and four triples and Ipswich put up 40 as a team on the way to the 40-point victory.
The win improves the Force to a 6-4 record on the season with four consecutive victories on the back of shooting 58 per cent from the field and 16/34 from downtown along with 21/26 at the foul line while also having just nine turnovers.
For three quarters it was Sam McDaniel and Lamar Patterson leading the way for Ipswich, but all of a sudden Lachlan Anderson exploded in the fourth quarter.
He scored 21 points in the fourth term along including hitting four three-pointers on his way to 40 for the game with five rebounds and four assists on 7/12 shooting from behind the arc.
McDaniel still finished with 27 points, 11 rebounds and two assists on 6/6 shooting from three-point territory with Patterson adding 20 points, four steals, two boards and two assists, Merrick Small 11 points and six rebounds, and Will Mahoney 11 points, two assists and two steals.
Quintin Dove top scored once again for the Wizards with 26 points and five rebounds with 8/23 shooting from the field, 3/13 from downtown and 7/8 at the charity stripe.
Jed Richardson also had 14 points and six rebounds, Tyler Williams 11 points, five assists, four boards and two steals, and Durrell McDonald seven points, four rebounds and three assists.
