Round 11 of NBL23 had some action-packed games, check out how some of our NBL1 stars went below.
Owen Foxwell
The NBL1 South Youth Player of the Year had a dominant performance against the Sydney Kings in the Phoenix’s double OT win in Gippsland.
With Gary Browne falling to injury, the 19-year-old stepped up and played a critical 23 minutes - playing elite defence, taking three charges and scoring eight points.
Post-game Mitch Creek said Foxwell’s impact was a key factor in their win.
“That might be the best game I’ve ever seen someone play one on one defence and get forty piece,” Creek said.
“If 'Foxy' wasn’t on our team for that game, I reckon he (Walton Jr) would’ve scored 74 points.
“Seeing Owen Foxwell take three charges was pretty damn cool.”

Off the bench, the Pioneers superstar was on fire for the Wildcats. Dropping three triples and five rebounds as he gets more comfortable in NBL23.

Post-game coach John Rillie said he’s been impressed with Harris’s efforts.
“Credit to the kid is when you say DP (development player), if you come to our practices and you're around our group, everyone is going to get an opportunity and succeed,” Rillie said.
“That kid has made the most of every opportunity that he’s had to date. You guys were just lucky enough to see a great performance from him tonight coming off the bench.”
Isaac Gattorna
After being scouted in the NBL1 West by Kings assistant coach Fleur McIntyre, Isaac Gattorna has proven to be a useful piece of the reigning champion's bench.
After averaging 18 points for the Perth Redbacks, Gattorna stepped up for the Kings in the double-OT clash. He played 12 minutes of terrific defence, two points and two rebounds.
