Nick Marshall has a career-high
Days before re-signing with the Mount Gambier Pioneers, Nick Marshall dropped a career-high 15 points against the Phoenix in the close loss. After a massive season with the Pioneers, Marshall will return for 2023 with another full NBL season.

Shea Ili returns from injury
The NBL1 South MVP has returned once again after struggling with concussion issues and was outstanding in his first game back.
In 20 minutes he had 15 points, four rebounds and assists plus two steals in United’s massive win over the Brisbane Bullets.

Lamar Patterson switches sides
The two-time NBL First Team superstar Lamar Patterson has made a big switch, moving from the NBL1 North champions the Gold Coast Rollers to the South West Metro Pirates.
Patterson matched his season average in NBL22 with the Rollers and now heads into the 2023 NBL1 season with an NBL1 North title and a Coles Express NBL1 National Finals All-Star Five award under his belt.
