NBL1 North: Logan Thunder
Logan Thunder were a powerhouse last season off the back of Mikaela Ruef.
The NBL1 North All-Star Five member had an outstanding Round 8 with 21 points, 22 rebounds and seven assists against Brisbane Capitals on Friday. She followed that up with 26 points, 19 rebounds and six assists against the Sunshine Coast Phoenix on Saturday.
Whilst they are not where they’d want to be on the ladder midway through the season with a 6-4 record, the Thunder are not a team to be messed with. If they continue this form, they are well and truly a Finals contender.

NBL1 East: Manly Warringah Sea Eagles
The Sea Eagles are on an 11-game win streak and they have shown no signs of slowing down.
Beating the Penrith Panthers by 53 points in Round 10, Manly is a team unit, with no player averaging over 15 points per game. Captain Kimberley Hodge leads the team with 14.5 points, while six players average nine or more.
NBL1 South: Dandenong Rangers
The Dandenong Rangers had an impressive Round 7, with a win over the Keely Froling-led Launceston Tornadoes on Saturday, followed by the stacked Nunawading Spectres on Sunday.
In the battle of the bigs, Nyadiew Puoch put up 24 points, six rebounds and three blocks against the MVP candidate Froling. Against Nunawading, the Rangers played elite defence, holding the Spectres to only 29 percent from the field.

NBL1 West: Joondalup Wolves
The Joondalup Wolves are missing a key piece in Nes’aya Parker-Williams, but managed to still defeat the reigning NBL1 National Champions, the Warwick Senators.
Holding the Senators to 33 percent from the field, the undermanned Wolves had an outstanding game on the defensive end and a brilliant offensive game off the back of Teige Morrell.
The NBL1 West MVP contender scored 26 points with 11 rebounds and six assists to lead the Wolves to the 11-point win on the road.
