Northside's Mitch McCarron led the way in terms of NBL1 names, taking home the Ray Borner Medal and guiding the Adelaide 36ers to a Loggin-Bruton Cup win.
The 36ers won all five of their NBL Blitz games, with McCarron leading the competition in assists (seven per game) to match his average of three steals.
Ipswich's Nathan Sobey dominated in his two outings with 22 points per game and six assists for the Brisbane Bullets.
He was complemented by Bullets teammate and NBL1 rival Lamar Patterson, who averaged 14.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and 6.7 assists following a successful off-season with the Southern Districts Spartans.
NBL1 West Golden Hands winner Scott Machado was unsurprisingly ranked third in average assists in the Blitz behind McCarron and Patterson, with 6.5 dimes from his four Cairns appearances.
NBL1 duo Isaac White (Illawarra Hawks) and Bul Kuol (Cairns Taipans) led the Blitz in three-point shooting, nailing 6/7 and 7/9 from beyond the arc, respectively.
Red City's Will McDowell-White was another NBL1 player who impressed from three-point range, nailing 50 percent of his shots from three appearances with the New Zealand Breakers.
Uncontracted NBL1 guns also received an opportunity to prove themselves on Australia's biggest basketball stage, with Koen Sapwell (Hobart Chargers), Tom Garrett and Lachlan Barker (both Frankston Blues) suiting up for the South East Melbourne Phoenix and Mitch Clarke (Perry Lakes) showcasing his skills with the Perth Wildcats.
