Thank you to all our loyal Members and Supporters for your continued support through what has been a challenging few weeks for the teams here.
There has been no disputing the challenges this recent lockdown has had on the association but despite these challenges, we will all continue to band together and come out the other side stronger, our resilience will continue to outshine the hardships.
Today we received clarity from the NBL1 South in regards to what the season looks like for the Hotondo Homes Ballarat Miners and Selkirk Ballarat Rush. Unfortunately the next two weekends will proceed, however without crowds.
This is no doubt, disappointing on all fronts.
While this round will not get the physical audience it deserves, we wholeheartedly support the Victorian Government’s decision so we can all remain safe.
Please know that we are in constant dialogue with the NBL1 South, Victorian Government and relevant health authorities to ensure we can return as COVID-normal as soon as possible. To that end, we will keep you informed with the latest updates for Round 17, 18 and 19 fixturing as soon as they come to hand.
While the teams have been giving their all throughout the season, we are confident that they will hit the courts Saturday with one aim, and that is to make our supporters proud.
Please be safe, look out for those closest to you and be sure to reach out for support during this time.
We hope to see you all back in the stands soon cheering on the Miners Rush!
Take care.
