NBL1 Men's Head Coach Announcement

We are excited to announce the return of our Men’s Head Coach Mike Malat. Each year the excitement of the team keeps building and we are looking forward to what this year can bring. Missing the playoffs last year we know Mike and the team are locked in to make a big push to get back in the competitive circle.

Mike will serve as head coach of the men’s team and assistant coach for the women’s team.

“I am very excited to be a part of another season at Lakeside. I love being at the club and am very encouraged of the progress we have been making each year as well. It takes time to make the right adjustments to get the pieces in place to complete the vision. Each year we get closer and closer and this year we expect it to be the best yet. I can’t wait to see the team back on the court and have the purple army back in the gym. It’s a special place to be and I’m very honoured to lead this group again.”
