Nagy ready to role with Hawks

Ringwood Hawks Forward Hajnal Nagy has re-signed with the club for the 2021 NBL1 South season. 

For the versatile South Australian, the motivating factor was to return to the Hawks team and build upon the team chemistry that was being established for the 2020 NBL1 South season. 

“We were creating some excellent team chemistry just before the pandemic hit last year, so I was keen to get back on court with the girls” Nagy said. 

“I want to play whatever role the team needs me to, that will contribute to us being as successful as possible. 

“The Hawks have always been highly competitive and I expect nothing less from myself and the girls again this year” Nagy said. 

Ringwood Hawks coach Tim Mottin is excited about the physical presence and effort that Hajnal will bring to the team for the upcoming season. 

“Hajnal will give 100%. She is totally team-orientated and will do anything for the team to help them get a win” Mottin said. 

Nagy joins returning team captain Danni Bone and Marena Whittle as the announced signings for the upcoming 2021 NBL1 South season with more announcements expected to be made shortly.
