Each week the NBL1 will put a spotlight on a women’s and men’s team from each conference for a major performance, a big win or a special occasion for the club.

See the men's Teams of the Week below:

NBL1 West: Lakeside Lightning

The Lakeside Lightning’s charge continued, recording its fourth straight victory this past weekend.

Lakeside took down the fifth placed Perth Redbacks 89-86 on Saturday night to sit in eighth spot with a 9-8 record as fight for finals spots heats up.

NBL1 East: Newcastle Falcons

The Newcastle Falcons improved to 10-6 after a stunning 82-80 victory over the second placed Inner West Bulls.

Ryan Beisty was enormous for the Falcons, recording 28 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals and 3 blocks, including the game winning hook shot in the dying stages.

NBL1 South: Melbourne Tigers

The Melbourne Tigers have revived its campaign with a three-game winning streak, and they took a major scalp on Sunday, taking down the second placed Frankston Blues, 98-86.

The string of victories has the Tigers still within striking distance of the finals, sitting in 11th spot with an 8-9 record.

NBL1 North: Rockhampton Rockets

There hasn’t been much to cheer about for the Rockhampton Rockets this season, but Saturday night’s wild upset win over Mackay was one for the highlight reel.

Chier Maker’s tough fade-away, bank shot game winner secured Rockhampton’s second victory of the season, against a side fighting for a top-four spot.

NBL1 Central: Forestville Eagles

In a battle of league powerhouses, the second placed Forestville Eagles extended its winning streak to four thanks to a 90-84 win over the third placed Sturt Sabres.

It was a powerful fourth quarter effort from the Eagles, as they outscored the Sabres 24-12 in the defining period. Greg Mays led the way with 21 points and 9 rebounds, while Adam Doyle recorded 19 points, 6 assists and 4 steals.
