Loyal Clarke Back to Lead in 2023

The Ringwood Hawks have started 2023 exactly the right way with the news that Co-Captain Big Man Shaun Clarke has signed on for 2023.

 

If you are looking for “Loyalty” then Clarke is your man. He came up through the Hawks junior program and has now played an impressive 350 games of Big V/NBL1 Basketball. Just for fun we did a quick calculation and Clarke would have played close to 700 games for the Hawks as a VJBL/Big V and NBL1 player. That is 700 games of team first, unselfish and passionate hoops.

 

Despite having a few miles on the clock and now in his 30’s, Clarke had a great 2022 season and will still be a huge part of any success his team will have.

 

It is a big year for the Hawks Men with Clarke being new Coach Damien Smith’s first announced official signing. More signings will be announced as we lead up to the season tip off on the 4th of April against Waverley on the road.
