Lightning signs WNBL youngster Clarke

The Lakeside Lightning have signed Perth Lynx WNBL youngster Emma Clarke for the 2021 NBL1 West season.

Clarke played for the Lynx in the 2020 WNBL hub season, averaging 16.1 minutes per game. She joined Perth after finishing her college career at the University of Colorado.

In her final season at Colorado, Clarke started 29 games and played in all 30 while averaging a career-best 9.7 points and 4.6 rebounds per game.

She is the second announced signings for the Lightning’s women’s team alongside Ashleigh Isenbarger.

Lakeside begins their 2021 season on Saturday April 17 against the Willetton Tigers.
