Seventy and sensational: Adnam rewrites history

NBL veteran Kyle Adnam has delivered a performance to remember, pouring in an incredible 70 points for the Sandringham Sabres on Friday night.

Taking on the Northern Force, Adnam was simply brilliant, surpassing Anneli Maley’s previous mark of 65 points for the highest individual score in an NBL1 game ever.

He shot 13-of-22 from beyond the arc and 56 per cent overall from the field, while adding nine assists in one of the greatest performances in NBL1 history.

For good measure, Adnam finished with a plus-minus of +56 as the Sabres powered to a 50-point victory.

That’s going to be hard to beat.
