The Knox Raiders have announced the signing of South East Melbourne Phoenix star Jordan Hunter for the 2026 NBL1 South season.

Averaging a career-best of 11.7 points for the Phoenix in NBL26, Hunter is primed for a big NBL1 season at Knox after four-year hiatus from playing in the league.

Hunter's last NBL1 appearance was with the North Gold Coast Seahawks during the 2022 NBL1 North season, where he averaged 19.1 points, 13.4 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks per game.

After they claimed a five-point victory over Keilor in their first game of the season, Hunter will add plenty of quality to what is already a stacked Knox Raiders lineup, housing NBL experience such as Tad Dufelmeier, Brody Nunn, and Kobe Williamson, along with exciting international talents in Brandon Slater and Trazarien White.

After finishing first in the NBL1 South Men's competition last season, but failing to claim the championship, the Raiders will look to return to glory and repeat their back-to-back NBL1 National Championship triumphs from 2023 and 2024.

Check out the highlight's from Hunter's mammoth 25-point, 19-rebound display in a win over the Townsville Heat back in 2022:
