Jock Perry signs with the Hotondo Homes Ballarat Miners

Basketball Ballarat are pleased to announce that Jock Perry has signed with Hotondo Homes Ballarat Miners for the 2021 NBL1 South Season.
Returning from College Basketball playing at UC Riverside, Perry will provide some additional height to the roster of which Hotondo Homes Ballarat Miners Head Coach Brendan Joyce was thrilled about.
“We are really excited to obtain Jock as he is coming off a great year at college starting for UC Riverside and averaging 11 points & 5 rebounds. He is going to bring some much needed height to the team along with some sharp shooting for a 7 footer.” Joyce said.
It’s Perry’s flexibility on the court which Joyce highlighted and the ability to work well with other big man Deng Acuoth.
“He is a smart player to go along with his versatility and skill package and this will allow him to play inside and outside.”
“Jock and Deng will provide a great unique interior presence and target for our team and also support for each other with their ability to play both 5 and 4 positions.” Joyce ended with.
Jock Perry joins Zac Dunmore, Jordan Lingard, Daniel Joyce, Matt Kenyon, William Hickey, Ethan Fiegert, Will Hynes, Broden Collins and Deng Acuoth as announced players on the Hotondo Homes Ballarat Miners roster.
The Hotondo Homes Ballarat Miners and Selkirk Ballarat Rush will travel to Tasmania this Friday taking on Hobart before traveling north with Launceston and North West Tasmania hosting the teams.
