Jacks Back for 2023

The Ringwood Hawks Men's NBL1 team is starting to take shape with the announcement that veteran guard Jack Barry will be back for 2023.

Since joining the Hawks after a fantastic Big V career at the Hawthorn Magic, Barry has quickly established himself as a popular teammate and a player who can fill many roles from scoring or playmaking to defensive assignments.

"He is honest and reliable and a terrific teammate." Hawks Coach Damien Smith said.

"Jack also has the ability to catch fire from the perimeter and that is something we will be looking from him to do this year."

in 2022. the Hawks went agonizingly close (an overtime loss in the last game of the season to Knox) to a playoff appearance so Barry and his teammates are very determined to take that extra step.

The Hawks official pre-season starts next week and will include a mini camp. The season kicks off for the Hawks on the 2nd April.
