Hawks add trio for NBL1 West season

The Perry Lakes Hawks have secured Bailey Cole, Mitch Clarke (men) and Sarah Donovan (women) for the 2021 NBL1 West season.

Cole and Clarke were both members of the Hawks’ 2018 championship team and they will be looking for the same level of success in NBL1. Cole has played 88 senior games while Clarke has played 89, with both players set to play important roles in the rotation.

Perry Lakes’ men’s roster currently includes Cole, Clarke, Ben Purser, Rob Cassir, Andrew Ferguson, Lewis Thomas, Ryan Smith and Cooper Hamilton.

Donovan has been a staple in the Hawks’ program since 2011, having played 173 games for the club. She joins Annika Renkema, Nat Burton, Megan McKay, Maddy Dennis, Millie McCarthy and Morgan Ballantyne on the women’s roster for the forthcoming campaign.
