The North West Tasmania side dominated at Red Energy Arena Bendigo on Sunday, claiming a 90-81 victory over Bendigo Braves in a high-scoring affair.
Tyler Harris was unstoppable for North West Tasmania, pouring in 25 points on an efficient 82 percent shooting from the field, including a perfect 4-for-4 from outside. The Tasmanian outfit shot a blistering 54 percent from the field and controlled the boards with 36 rebounds to Bendigo's 31. Harris was nearly flawless, adding nine boards while Kye Savage contributed 17 points and seven rebounds.
Charles Matthews led the way for Bendigo with 22 points, but the Braves struggled from deep, connecting on just 24 percent of their attempts from beyond the arc. Billy Smythe added 10 points on 71 percent shooting, while Justin Johnson contributed 15 despite shooting only 22 percent from the field. The home side did force 19 turnovers and collected 9 steals, but couldn't overcome their shooting woes.
