Giants sign Pesava for NBL1 West season

The Goldfields Giants have made another key addition to their roster for the 2021 NBL1 West season, securing the signature of Julian Pesava.

Pesava is a product of the Cockburn Cougars and played with Wayland Baptist University in college, where he was coached by former Giants import Ty Harrelson. He then later played professionally for two seasons in Germany before returning to Australia earlier this year.

In his latest season in Germany, Pesava averaged 7.7 points per game for the Giessen 46ers.

In his most recent SBL season (2018), Pesava averaged 17 points and seven rebounds for the Cougars.

Pesava joins Tom Atkinson and Majier Garang Iii as announced Giants signings for the 2021 season.
