Wednesday: Round 4, Frankston Blues vs Dandenong Rangers
Women’s live from 6:00pm AEST
Opals star Steph Reid will be a must-watch in this clash against the Rangers. The WNBL champion has only been able to bring the Blues one win thus far and will be hungry to start their Finals push to begin Round 4.
Men’s live from 8:00pm AEST
Two Finals contenders are going head-to-head on ANZAC Day eve as Lucas Barker’s Blues will take on the dynamic duo of Mason Peatling and Tad Dufelmeier.
The Rangers sit third on the ladder with a 4-2 record while the Blues are seventh at 3-2. With the likes of Brad Newley, Lachlan Barker and more, this should be a great curtainraiser to the round.
Saturday: Round 4, Bendigo Braves vs Sandringham Sabres
Women’s live from 5:00pm AEST
While the defending conference and national champions have been rolling through 2024, the Sabres will provide a unique challenge with their potent offence.
With Funda Nakkasoglu, Klara Wischer and Brittany Smart – Sandringham has a set of dynamic scorers who can cause headaches for any defensive side.
However, the Braves have shown no signs of slowing down – currently on a 33-game win streak, the team of Kelly Wilson, Megan McKay, Amy Atwell and Ally Wilson are proving to be unbeatable.

While on paper the Sabres look stacked, they have struggled to meet expectations with a 2-3 record coming into Round 4. With the likes of Campbell Blogg, Shea Ili and Tanner Krebs, the United-lite squad has a lot to live up to after their runners-up finish last season.
The Braves on the other hand are far higher on the South ladder, sitting at eighth after a disappointing three-point loss to Nunawading at Red Energy Arena. Their deep team will be an interesting challenge for coach David Barlow and we will see if Sandringham can start to show their NBL-level potential on Saturday.

Thursday: Round 6, Forestville Eagles vs Central District Lions
Women’s live from 3:00pm ACST
The 4-1 Lions will face off against WNBL award-winner Isobel Borlase in a must-watch clash on ANZAC Day.
The trio of Casey Samuels, Jasmin Fejo and Taylah Levy have been dominant, averaging 58.6 of the team's total scoring average of 84.8 points.
The three-headed monster will take on the fourth-placed Eagles who have just added WNBA Draft pick Isobel Borlase, in what will be a fantastic showing of South Australian basketball.
Men’s live from 4:45pm ACST
After a disappointing record last season, the Lions have roared into 2024. With two wins under their belt, they’ve already reached half of their wins from the 2023 season – led by conference star Branden Jenkins.
Averaging a conference-high 32 points, the highly athletic forward has been the driving force in their success this season.
They’ll be going up against the runners-up from last season in the Forestville Eagles, with Adam Doyle, Greg Mays and Daniel Johnson forming a powerful trio in yellow.
Thursday: Round 4, Illawarra Hawks vs Sutherland Sharks
Women’s live from 5:00pm AEST
The Freeway Series continues as the Illawarra Hawks will host the Sutherland Sharks in Game of the Week during NBL1 East’s ANZAC Round.
The women’s game will feature two elite guards going head-to-head as Illawarra’s Ella Dent will take on Sydney Flames guard Vanessa Panousis.
Men’s live from 7:00pm AEST
Two teams built around their local talent, the reigning NBL1 East champion Sutherland Sharks will travel down the M1 freeway to play in the Snakepit.
The Hawks led by captain Riley Abercrombie will take on Lochlan Hutchison’s Sharks in a heated battle during the must-watch clash on ANZAC Day in New South Wales.

Friday: Round 3, North Gold Coast Seahawks vs Logan Thunder
Women’s live from 6:00pm AEST
The Seahawks will face the Thunder for the second time this season coming into Round 3, with former Logan superstar Mikaela Ruef ready to take on her former side once again.
After averaging 37 in Round 2, Miela Goodchild alongside Ruef will be a difficult tandem for Logan’s defence. The Thunder are yet to get a win, but with the remaining core of Mikhaela Cann and Chevannah Paalvast, it means this team can never be underestimated.

Men’s live from 8:00pm AEST
Reigning conference Defensive Player of the Year, Matt Kenyon will have his hands full with the Logan Thunder’s offence come Friday night.
After averaging 17.5 rebounds in Round 2, the NBL forward will be looking to lead the defensive efforts against Shaun Bruce, Zac Triplett and Callum Dalton.
Saturday: Round 5, Rockingham Flames vs Cockburn Cougars
Women’s live from 6:00pm AWST
The undefeated Flames vs the defending champion Cougars, what more could you want?
The Flames retooled this offseason with the additions of Nes’aya Parker-Williams and two-time conference MVP Alex Sharp – and it’s working. With a 6-0 record and scoring an average of 97.6 points per game, it’s hard not to call Rockingham the favourites.
Rockingham is DOMINATING ?
With a 3-0 start, the women's Flames are averaging 105 points per game and beating teams by an average margin of 5?8? ?

However, the defending champions, Cougars, are 4-0 and have looked even more dangerous than their 2023 season, with the addition of WNBL talent and Mitsubishi Motors Starting Five Player of the Month Alex Ciabattoni.
Men’s live from 8:00pm AWST
With two teams coming off losses, ANZAC Round will be about redemption for these two sides.
With the additions of Kyle Armour and Rhys Vague, the Cougars have had a more stable team this season alongside their core of Gavin Field and Josh Hunt. Sitting sixth on the ladder with a 2-2 record, they’ll face off against the daunting challenge that is the Rockingham Flames.
Featuring the reigning MVP, Defensive Player of the Year and second in MVP voting, the Flames are as stacked as they are hot and have gone 5-1 as a result.
With captain and 2023 ANZAC Round medallist Ryan Godfrey leading the way alongside scoring machines Devondrick Walker and Quintin Dove, the Cougars will also have to deal with Gorjok Gak’s conference-best defence on the other end.
Can the Cougars pull off an upset? We’ll find out Live and Free on Saturday night.
