Gabe Chadinha Re-Signs for 2023

Gabe Chadinha Re-signs with the Wolfpack for 2023

The Chambers Franklyn City of Joondalup Wolves are excited to announce the re-signing of guard, Gabe Chadinha for the 2023 NBL1 West season.

Gabe is a young prospect who continues to show great development in his game. The D-league team MVP played in 11 NBL1 games throughout last season, showing his ability to impact the game with athleticism, defence and energy.

Head Coach David Morrell was asked about Gabe’s signing:

“I am very pleased that Gabe has decided to re-sign with the Wolves for 2023. He’s a young Wolves junior that showed great potential last year and will continue to get better and better. Last year he was a top 3 scorer in WA for D-League and got opportunities in NBL1. Gabe proved more than capable on the big stage and was important for our depth last year. He had a 10-point game, an 8-point game, and some games where he didn’t score so much but just got in there and provided a spark of defence and athleticism. Gabe is a top-tier athlete, and we are hoping to see him take another leap forward in his development this year.”

When asked about his signing, Gabe said:

“It is a privilege to re-sign with the Wolves for the 2023 NBL1 season. I have always been with the Wolves, so it’s always an honour to play and represent our club. The professionalism, culture, and facilities are of a high standard, and we have a high calibre of coaches and players. I look forward to learning and developing with them throughout the season.”

Gabe joins CJ Turnage, Jonathan Wade and Bryan Michaels for the 2023 NBL1 West season.
